I used a voke bot a long time ago on forest hares, and such. made getting 1-10 very easy just warping around w. ronfare. i don't bot NM/HNM because that takes all the fun out of it. I am "old school" so far on online gaming goes. I never had more fun than sitting there waiting for something to spawn, then 15-30 people all running at it. I do however use a speed hack set to mazurka or strider boots. Is it cheating? yes. Does it hurt anyone? no. I only use it to get from place to place inside zones where chocobos are not allowed. I don't use it for anything more than getting to a PT. I am well aware i am going to get flamed for this, and rightly so. Every gil seller uses one, and 4 people from KFCFellows use one. Hell, they all use the same one. Now since the update these idiots are slowly learning how to configure them to work with the delay. Noone wants to find out the delay so they can time it to spam voke. They want the delay so their bots work again. I know of atleast 12-16 people in NA HNMLS that either still want the bot I used in w. ronfare or already found one. On a funny side note a few of them asked that I bot for them (when they asked I was only lvl 40... yea... i'll be right out to fafnir...) which made me die laughing. If you want to know the best time to beat the botters I will gladly let you know each time SE changes the ID tags, and they have to reset their bots. Guess my point is that not all of us are bad people. My 12% movement increase so I can get to a party faster doesn't hurt you in the slightest.

well as far I can tell you that cheater will ALWAYS be a cheaters and just dont earn to win this game or getting good armor that you didnt really earn it but you did just earn your bad name called "Cheater".

You know I wouldn't be surprised if every NA HNM LS has one, not saying they use it in any way but it wouldn't be surprising if they have one. I don't care for it as it takes all the fun out of camping HNMs. Now granted I am Fairly new and I have seen some bots in use from other LSs as its not hard to see them work just have to watch certain people.

But I have come to the decision is that its gonna happen no matter what. I still have fun in the game and won't let some stupid bots ruin it for me. So let cheaters be cheaters b/c I know when I get that one piece of gear I know I earned it not by cheating but by skill.

yea, the new fishbots work by lagging your connection, and isolating the "movements" of the rod. then it enters the proper key strokes at a rate of 20 per second. When X = (pixel color) it pulls it in. funny part is you can tell which ones are using the bot. They manage to pull in fish without their rod moving.

Okay, 5-10 of the best players...if by best players you mean most proficient cheaters...okay sure yeah...

Sure you can still fishbot, the new bot was out on the internet ~8 hours after the fishing revamp.
Its easier to spot them now though, because you can see otehr people's fishing results. I once saw this one guy at the guild make like 20 catches in a row while the chatlog kept repeating after each catch he made: "x caught a bastore bream but releases it because his inventory is full." If that isn't botting then I'm clueless.
Also saw some dude named Xenol at qufim cliff who caught a monster but it seemed his script wasn't programmed to fight, so for like 10 minutes he just sat there trying to cast his rod while the sea bishop he caught kept canceling his casts with his attacks. Was funny to see all the JP fishers around him swear at him.
I called a GM while he was still doing it but the GM never did crap. I think they gave up their battle against fishbotters after even the new system failed to stop them.

As for the people who get perma banned for cheating with job system, I don't think they should get any sympathy. Doesn't matter if you're a newbie or an uber player with all AF2, cheating is cheating.

I dont know who this "Homstar" character is, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say that about 90% of what hes sputtering out is total Garbage.

Regardless. I know my linkshell doest cheat and if I ever had reason to believe they were cheating, I would remove them instantly.

Theres a really bad crowed of people on this server who all use bots\hacks and talk to each other. I know Emerlin was part of that scene and the day he quit he filled me in to all the people he knew that used bots\hacks and RTMs. Emerlin sadly used a fishbot and was removed from CKD. He told me first hand that Maggette bought all of emerlins gil when he quit.

I dont care if CKD has to wait another year to kill another King, I wont let this ls go down to the same level as IW and KFC.

holy shit. maggete was SUCH a prick haha. he summoned out carbuncle and sat around the hoo mjuu spawn so his voke bot/hack friend bsummit or something could get the claim and the rest of us would continually target carbuncle. Pretty prestigious job.
