I'd like to see a 1-player SNES or PS1 style version of FF11. I wish I knew how to write programs. I played around with the Python script for a while and made a "How to woo women" program lol... but i suck at that.

hmmm interesting idea. How would you handle the different countries? Choose at the start like Ogre Battle, and then you have different sub story based off that?

That would be cool...

You can get random invites with no /tells when you are level 10-40

You can get angry /tells when you get a NM that drops something more than 300k.

When you ask for help from the NPCs, some of them respond with "(English) (Too Weak) = (death) (/laugh)"

When you goto buy a great item, it will hike up 100-200k more than when you last checked it.

And the ball buster - You can be a job that seems really good in the first place, and then end up punching yourself in the nuts later becuase none ofthe NPCs would want to PT with you.

first thing i'd do if i could make a 1-player version of ff11 is to give dragoons a better weapon skill, a real 2hr skill (maybe something that is really strong against dragons...but since there aren't many dragons, maybe something that would help in exp like MP-Benediction), and another ability like maybe a chargeable jump, like the longer you stay in the air the more outrageous the damage is.

i know mp-benediction isn't really something you'd think a dragoon would do.. maybe drg 2-hr can be a massive dragon that swoops down and does like 5000 dmg

make that chargeable jump its 2 hour. that sounds real nice since you'd have a degree of control over it.

It would be nice to have 3 main character, 1 starting in each cities and then their path intertwine and they against the SL and the likes. It would definetly make a great solo rpg.
