I honestly have to disagree that RDM is fun. maybe because when I leveled mine I was with a static of WAR DRG WHM and me the RDM. Literally, all I did was debuff >> haste >> refresh >> haste >> refresh >> haste >> refresh >> wait for next mob and repeat

I am though enjoying NIN currently(lv60 right now) compared to PLD, been getting invites pretty well and keeping hate isn't that bad, I was keeping up with a MNK and WAR at lv60 in Valley of Sorrows(no THF present). I'm capable of soloing pretty well as NIN and actually did that half the time between 40-50, mainly cause CN parties sucked ass and would end up disbanding before my exp ring wore so I'd solo to get max bonus. I'm not saying you can't solo as PLD, but you're limited in what you can do, staff goes only so fast and you can't take too strong of mobs.

got off track about saying that RDM turned unfun really fast for me 50+(I got it to 53, currently 52 thanks to Riverne Site #B01 lol)



Just look at a job that isn't melee that you might be interested in and try it out.

The last few times I've been in xp pt with rdm I've sub war or nin or drk or something like that.

Working on capping archery and I'll probably do rdm/rng next for kicks. heh

It's just more fun if you do the stuff you need to do, but do it differently than what people expect ;p

brd is boring as hell

blm is boring once you start nuking once a fight, (blm/brd is pretty fun though)

brd's fun depends on how much u want to jeperdize ur xp bar :P and how much u like pulling...
it's about the only job where u can pull 2 mob at a time, and can tell the PT u did it on purpose, and still don't get into trouble for it :P

ps. last time I xp, i went to fight birds/ram in CoP area.. and the rng was pulling...i fell asleep.

on the other hand...
brd is fun when u have a close friend melee friend that likes to duo
melee/nin + brd = duo many things... :D (i remember agroing a VT/low IT weapon with 1/2 mp.. and manage it out alive.. that was fun :D)

fighting charby with mnk/nin, brd, rdm (70), pld (70) while avoiding 5 wave of MPK mob and handling an add was fun too >w<;

pps, did i mention? brd exping is somewhat boring :P (but isn't that true for all job :P)
