Phase 6

Phase 6 was by far one of the hardest of all the phases thus far. I am sorry the summary from this night is a little late but I feel it is necessary to keep everyone up to date. 1st congratulations to Kilik and Gotenks who both solved my riddle and won 50k. I was blasted with the answer through /tell about 45 secs once I logged on and posted the riddle. It was a rather easy riddle: Name the 2 locations of Argus. The answer is Port Bastok (an NPC is named Argus there) and Maze of Shakrami (the NM). I hope to come up with a few better riddles in the future. Finding me was the challenging part. To anyone that bothered to search for me I am sure a few were rather displeased since I was hidden in Promyvion-Vahzl at area F- 5 on the second floor. There is no way to warp to this floor except to warp down from the 3rd floor or actually defeat the MR on the 1st floor. I was hidden way in the back actually behind a MR in the zone past a gauntlet of enemies. Everything is true sight here and links and kills like crazy. It took many 2+ hours to find me and a few even gave up (sorry Feep). The sleep/logout strategy was used often by many of the smarter players, but even then death was common. I’m sure many of you got a bit of brief “avoid all aggro” practice in finding me this time. Since I was a beginner I have been pretty good at this, even more so as a whm, and have explored zones that (even when I was underleveled) should not have been explored. Perhaps this practice may become useful in the future dynamis/limbus zones. The Promyvion-Vahzl zone, or any Promy for that matter, is rarely visited after it is conquered during the CoP process but I have actually come back to it a few times for the ENM as well as to farm since kindred seals drop here fairly easily. And there is really zero competition in this zone lol. Only a handful of people were successful in finding me but congrats to those that did. The prize was rather nice this time, and congrats to Alpsyche on a corse cape.

I am slowly becoming lower in funds but I still have a few more contests to go before ‘Ol Supafly finally leaves for good. ^^ I may even be kind of forced to extend the “rose contest” into January to determine that only 1 winner can emerge. It seems many of you really want to be granted “King” or “Queen” of that contest and I have just the “crown” to anoint the winner! ^^ Be prepared to start finding me in more CoP areas in the near future, I will use these areas to see who the truly hardcore are since an ultimate prize is also at stake and I look forward to a few more adventures and stories to remember!
