I plan on getting sky very soon, But I dont want to until after Maat fight. Den of Rancor EXP kinda blows even at 69 so I dont wanna stay there once we get 70. Kuftal Tunnel is an alternative and probably the best spot I hear. Just wondering if there was any other places.

72-74 get a MNK and go to King tomb's 2nd map in front of the secret room

70-73 Ro'maeve (one of your party member needs a moon key)

Yeah, I got sky at 71, and although the perm rushed straight to sky to try and exp there, unless you know what you're doing and where to camp, you wont get anything decent at any level. We ended up doing Ro'Maeve for the remainder of time. (I think I must have collected 50+ Stacks of Wind Crystals total from 70-75 on these guys. )

Only time you'll see yourself exping in sky really, is in a 75 Merit Point party (these guys generally know what they are doing, I was in one and we were hitting Chain #6) Or if absolutely everywhere else is full, which will only happen at this level if you exp at JP times at a weekend (Which is like 2PM for me, so I do this a lot).

I sort of shake my head when I hear friends trying to do ZMs at like level 60-65 (And complaining ZM8 is kicking their ass, no less...) because the zone is really kinda useless unless you intend to do gods and stuff, and chances of doing that before your whole LS are 75 are slim.

I got a bunch of my 70 friends to sky the other day. Took them on the tour explaining how to avoid getting yourself killed, how to get around, how to avoid accidentally fighting Ark Angels, and how to Wide Scan to make sure you don't get jumped by this "Despot" thing that likes to kill me because I have no idea if he's up or not :P.

After finishing and taking them back to Hall of the Gods, the RDMs response: "Boooo, sky is boring." And yeah, unless you got a reason to be there, it is.

Sky might be fairly boring but its very pretty

ive not explored enough yet, thanks for the tour though Ket was very usefull and Tanking the NMs on the ZM's for us :D

The tour was great. What I want to thank u for tho was taking the time (and it took alot of it) to get us all thru it. We've not been back and I'm sure have no intention of going back unless we have a reason to.

We did Sky doll (the ones enter to get to water camp), until 72. Then 72-75 a combination of kuftal and ro'mave. Personally I like kuftal a lot better if you know what the heck you are doing. Ro'mave is ok but if your blm and rdm doesn't have all of the best gear they can get, their dmg will be jack and it'll be very hard to pull off chain 5.

Kuftal is actually pretty decent xp if you are the only party there. Even 2 pts are ok, but if you have more than 2 then xp will suck. Before 74, we normally build up tp and pull ladon for chain 5. 74-75, we do ladon at chain 2 and chain 5. The xp is really not that bad if you can avoid as many tigers as possible once you reach 74. The ocassionally NM for the blm or rdm shield is nice if you are in a pickup pt. We've got so many jp blm and rdm that shield it isn't funny at all. Until this day, I still laugh when the jp blm & rdm didn't think a pld can tank Pelican. My perm pt really was just that good, we kicked pelican's butt at lvl 72.

btw... Kuftal and Tomb are more PLD friendly
Ro'maeve is better off going with a NIN tank you can get 4+1 chain using weapon and golem at higher lv

also if you can assemble a mages team e.g.
BLMx3 BRD PLDorNIN MNK (you can probably do well in tomb)
I think I saw a SMNx4 BRD NIN there once ^^

we wer in kuftal last night all lvl 69/70 getting 160-240xp a kill (depending on the chain) never touched Ladon though, we decided they looked too scary for now, maybe once average lvl is 71 we will fight them too, its generally quiet there too in the 4hrs we were xping all we saw were 2 people searching coffers :D
