just get yourself a nin, 3 smns (with sp up), and 2 leeches of your choice and liking (like say a thf keke). The smns will need to bring 2 yag drinks and 2 hi ethers. The nin should bring a stoneskin torque and at least 5-7 hi-potions or more (depending on how much of a bleeder they are), might be a good idea to equip them with a few yellow liquids to try and lock the mammets into a less threatening job such as drg or war(you can tell jobs by the weapon they have equipped). also make sure everyone has a reraise earring, or at least 1 fully charged one to share between the entire pt.

Go into the bc, have everyone use rr earring, and get full buffs up. When bp is rdy, you have nin go in and all smns follow with an avatar out (as with all smn burn setups, I don't have any preference as to avatars, I've used mostly ifrit, shiva, and garuda, and gotten about the same results as far as damage from all.. just go with whatever avatar's element is strong to that day) Have the nin voke the middle one and round up the hate from the other 2.. once they're all within aoe range of eachother have all smns assault the one the nin voked and run out of aoe range, pop a yag drink, pop sp, pop off bp, pop hi ether and wait til bp timer comes back. Leave avatars out. If your avatar dies, don't panic.. simply recast and re-assault, pop second bp, and second hi ether. if your yag drink has worn pop another. After the 2nd wave of astral flows, they should all die, or be at extremly low health, if there's time before the nin finishes them off pop 3rd bp and they're toast.

I wanted to try this setup for awhile and everyone kept convincing me that a standard setup with kiters was the best. I did eventually beat it with a standard setup but we all wasted a ton of money and exp on the 3 botched attempts before our successful run. When I finally did try it this way we beatout the record and spent a total of 8min total in the bc (that's including the cs i believe).

The reraise earring is in case they all go blm and whip your ass.. should this happen, try to die in a safe place (like the entrance or around the steps leading to/from it) reraise, rest til unweakened and full, and then you'd have to setup a kiting order and shit and have at least 1 or 2 smns using physical bps as dd.

I can lend a hand with this, as I still have more revenge to extract on those damn mammets, just let me know when, and if you don't need me or want to try some other setup GL it's prolly one of the hardest bcs in cop (or at least it was for me) so don't under-estimate it, and make sure you go prepared.

P.S. Mikey's gonna punch you in the face if you keep making a mockery of his forums lol

P.P.S This strat isn't that hard to pull off when you take into consideration that nearly every NA player on the server now has smn to 30+

You can read Jimbean post, but it has far too many words to be worthwhile  Here is my strategy that work with almost every setup .

-Grab a pld, warrior, ninja or thief
-Have at least 2 healer (rdm, whm smn; 1 of the 2 could be a blm too)
- Fill the rest with anything able to kill (make them sub nin)

Battle strategy

-Your tank run in, and aggro them without doing any skill.
-One melee pull one closer to entrance, and your /nin party with one healer kill it
-While they kill it, the tank will kite both mammet around the BC and be cure bombed by the other healer. Healer won't pull hate since the kiter never claimed any mob, they are aggroed, but don't have any hate

It's really easy that way, and as long your party can kill the mamet (which is easy since you have 4 people on it, instead of the usual 3 with other strategy), you could always reraise and finish the rest.

Dual RDM kiters with NIN sub, pwn.

When I did this, we had: DRG, NIN, WHM, RDM, RDM *something else, forgot*.

Tank runs in, vokes one, each RDM picks a mammet, casts gravity on it, and begins kiting. Bind sticks almost every time, and if it doesnt, you have utsusemi and stoneskin to fall back on. Other problem is when they turn into a mage, because they spam the hell out of -ga spells.

I was a kiter, and never got hit. What I did was Gravity+Bind+DoT spells.

We lost a few times, but that's because the melee's sucked and kept getting butt raped.
