Whats the first thing you wanna do when you install and first load up the expansion?

For me its always been about exploring and discovering. I think the first thing I would do is the same thing I did with CoP. I would run to the new zones and just start looking around. I have no interest in leveling another job. Square makes it too time consuming to try and do that, but it would be fun to explore new zones.

Theres nothing better than wondering around an area no one else has before.

I would want to explore the new areas but.. SE won't let anyone who has the expansion installed before the 20th (I believe) use any of the content until that day.

I guess it's good for some people who aren't lucky enough to see it shipped until then. Oh well, no use in complaining I guess. At least it's not like CoP was where the JPs got it 3 days before NA.

I will do some exploring.. but I want to level BLU first. Will have to see what a pain in the ass it is to access the new areas and flag the quests for the new jobs.

Don't complain, if I can be bothered to order it it means I can join in the new stuff at the same time as you, although actually I won't because probably won't buy it until a few weeks later lol.

Oh and I am guessing the new areas will be designed in such a way that it is harder to MPK people with NMs/HNMs. So the first thing I might do is try to MPK people with any named monster by training it.

I'll probably explore the new areas first. I'm interested to see how the new mobs and zones look on my crappy PC. As soon as people find out how to unlock the new jobs...I'll do that. Gonna play BLU.

I want to find out how to unlock corsair and puppet master first so Armani and I can get to levelling those up.

I also want to find the newest model viewer whenever it comes out so I can look at everything.

I miss being able to explore like that, but for me everywhere I go seems to just be another place in the game, even if it's a new place I don't get the 'new place' feel :(

try quitting for a while. then come back as a new char from scratch and then go around exploring high level areas. this way worked for me lol.

That didn't help so much for me, but I still get dizzy when I get lost in somewhere I've never been before.

I want to go out and explore as well. But since I have 2 jobs at 75, prolly not going to get aggro in the new areas.

What fun is visiting a new area without a map if you can't suddenly get aggro? I always liked running through new zones, getting critical'd for 50% my hp, and being too far away from the zone, then coming back into that same zone, remembering: "Hey, that dude aggros. Don't know what to, but better stay the fuck away."

But if I can get aggro in the new areas, it'll be the first thing I do. Run in and die. HP, and come back for more.

it's my bad luck that i'll be in the middle of exams and heavy studying (lol right) while everyone else is exploring the new stuff, experimenting with new jobs to find out what works. So more than likely I'll come back to find most of the stuff has been tried out already so I'll just do whatever seems most fun.

Go in to your Profile.

Insert an off-site image link if you want for your signature in the dialog box, and put [img]image%20tags%20around%20it%20like%20this[/img]. Off-site image links are picture files stored somehwere on a server, right-click any image you see online and select "properties" to see where the image is located. Right-click the CKD banner above and you'll see its address is http://yarrthepirate.com/v-web/bulletin ... logo3c.jpg
If you wrap [img] tags around it, it'll post the link as the image.

Go to your Avatar control panel to select an avatar from your machine or an off-site image.

Remember to be respectful about remote linking.

Anyway, gonna get my pass and just wander around the new city probably to see what there is to do. Check for guilds, things like that.
