I find if funny how people quit FF for RL. I'm forced to play FF because current RL circumstances prevent me from having a RL. I would love a RL but can't have one at the moment so I play FF, it will be interesting to see what happens to the equation when I can have a RL. I'm pretty sure my FF playtime will drastically be cut back...but to the point of quitting...that's something I don't like to think about.

Yes, I am the person who shouted random polls in Lower Jeuno before it was over-run by the scourge or FFXI ( casinos ). I will miss those things as well, but anyway that's not important. The whole reason you are reading this post is to check and see if you made the list so I won't bore you with things. I really need to disable the whole E-mail notification of a private message.. I checked my e-mail today and 20 messages all saying I have recieved private messages on the forums!

The list has been updated as of today. If I've missed something ( please go over the list. I don't get on my computer as much now that I quit FFXI so it's important you point out things.. oh, and don't worry about feeling greedy or anything. I'm giving these out as gifts and I could care less what you want. )

My account can be reactivated up until Feburary 2005 so any time before that you can expect to have the lottery on the items. It's a shame FFXI is built around 95% reputation as a friend of mine pointed out. You fart wrong anymore and one person stretches it out until it's something completely wrong and when they tell their friends who do you think they will believe? It's sad the way things are, but it's not just in the Role playing community that suffers. It happens every day in real life. One of these days I hope people can seperate their real life from the game and do what's really important in a Role playing game and that's Role play. It may be embarassing to walk around acting like a Galka but that's the whole point of the game! Seperating the Drama that is the real life from the fun and excitment of the Role playing universe. Next time you want to humiliate that "noob" for being a well, "noob" think about this. That guy is obviously humiliating himself because he can't seperate his life from a game. Making fun of someone shows who the real noobs are.

Let me tell you a sad story of what FFXI can do to you. I had a girlfriend, a real life freakin' girlfriend.. and guess what she does? SHE FREAKIN' LEAVES ME FOR SOME GUY ON THIS GAME THAT LIVES 10,000 MILES AWAY!!!!

That is so freakin' sad.. I can't believe someone would do that.. talk about retarded.

This is why I quit.. I can't believe a game becomes more important to someone that a real life breathing person. It makes me sick just thinking about it.
