We use teamspeak for City of Heroes. It helps a lot, since you don't have a lot of time to type during battles. I think it could help a lot of HNM battles or parties or quests or whatnot. Wouldn't help a lot in Dynamis since there are are too many people. HELPS A TON! w00t w00t!

Teamspeak = Press a buttone to talk via microphone. other peoples talking comes through speakers.

There's also Ventrilo, but we'd need someone to start a server for us to be able to join it and talk with each other.

I dunno... it's good in theory, but in practice it would take a lot of getting used to. "Heal me YARR" wouldn't work really well. Now maybe "Yarr, heal Laguna!!!" would be effective. But "Heal Me" would take getting used to and recognizing names to voices.

It would take a lot of time, and I wouldn't depend upon it for any HNM's until you got fairly good at the recognition.

On the other hand, us WHM's pay more attention to the TREASURE SCREEN than the HP Bars, right *YARR*??

I've had good experiences with Ventrilo. What you do is create diffrent channels for like diffrent parties in an allaince. It would work like this.

Public channel
Private Channel

HNM Party 1
HNM Party 2
HNM Party 3

lol It was still funny. I guess it's kinda bad on all the mages for not noticing he was about to die (not just Yarr, but the entire alliance) -- (Edit: After all, Gilzz just sent himself a Cure3 and had some MP remaining ... not to point fingers but ). Granted, everyone seems to be low on HP and MP, but just to throw out a Cure or Poisona isn't that hard. :D

On the other hand, I guess Kayne's cry for help was a bit late to do much. lol

I used ventrillo when i played Daoc. Its very convient. For stuff like voice reconigition you pick up quick wih the people you play with a lot.

Wouldn't take mroe than a day or two before Yarr could tell Kayne apart from everyone else and stuff.

Not that he'd get a cure or anything though... haha
