For me i think its Friends, Fun and boredom. Its also something that challenges me and provides a somehwat competitive atmosphere. Something ive been missing since i stopped playing truely competitive sports on a regular basis a few years back.

I wouldn't get your hopes high ;P I'm sticking around for a while

Well in all actuallity I would say boredom, to basically pass time in between work and school.

a while back all of my friends but 1 quit playing, and I would say that 98% of the players on this forum have no clue who I am and have never seen me and I can only hold the the "friends" part of playing to 3 players on ifrit.

Knolan, Buvian, and Zoewie(buddy from college, last one playing still).

Of course there is some spot in the picture of being a 75war/thf but... likelyhood of that happening is slim to none.

Honestly, I ask myself this question every day, and everyday I come up with the same answer-

The friendships I've made in the game.

It sounds sappy, but it's true. I ask myself would I have been better off not playing this game at all? Right now I can't decide either way based on this very reason.

If i didnt come to this site i probably would have quit a looooooooong time ago. The only thing that keeps me playing really is the promise of HNM/Dynamis. And friends and stuff. But i would have quit if i didnt know this stuff existed.

Couldn't have said it better myself man. Exactly what makes me want to piss myself all the time looking at the SS and videos of Dynamis/HNM fights. It's just so exciting just thinking about that stuff, and seeing and hearing from people here who do them all the time. Just makes me wish there was a cheat for me to input to instantly hit 75, just for those events, then i'd go right back to my lvl and work my way up. That's how eager i am, lol

It's interesting to me that no one has said the story. I'm lovin' the story so far, and it's probably the primary reason I'm psyched about reaching the higher levels. The opening ZM cutscenes were awesome, the CoP is intriguing as well. Exploration is cool as well. Getting ultra-awesome equipment simply for the sake of having ultra-awesome equipment holds no interest to me. Ah well.
