Many people I know are stuck at this mission (this is the first one after you beat all three promyvion). Try to be there at 2pm even if we will most likely start around 3pm because everybody is always late.

If you're tanking or plan to get hate eventually, bring a stack of holy water (5k for 12). Minotaur uses "Doom" spell which shorten your life span to 10 seconds. Only the spell "cursna" and the item "holy water" can remove it, and there is like 1/5 it works. This is why you want many potion since one is rarely enough.

We also need a thief with "Thief Tool" to open the door deeper in the sewer. It usualy take 1 try, but I failled it once 4 time in a row, a stack of thief tool cost 12k.

Also, I recommand bringing is a stack of silent oil (shouldnt need more than 3-4 if people are careful).


If we are going with a big alliance, it will be important to follow indication once we get there. Don't go afk every 5 minutes for a smoke and try to follow the one who leads. This mission can be done in 1 hour, but when I do it with 12 peoples and more, it always take 3 hours.

Sure I'd be there since you really seem to know how to run these CoPs.

since this is a lvl 40 cap area I can go as either:

NIN/WAR
BLM/WHM
RDM/BLM
or
DRK/WAR

Nin, Whm and Rng are the best for this place and you need 1 thief. But all job are fine if you dont have those

If you think you will be late, just log back in the safehold with your gear and mission flagged. Getting ready to go usually take half of the time

what is recomned job that I can use right now I only have is a PLD/war that can run in this mission that I need to work on.

You want me to go as thf? I'm thinking I'll go as thf and use my Noct +1 gear and just act like a rng but with sneak/trick. Whatever works for me though I would like to do something different. :)

That's always what I do when there is no thief avaible. My thief is only 37 but it work fine to open the door :P
Noct gear + SaTa with archer dagger for the win

But come as rng tomorrow, if no other thief come, one of us will mutate into a thief.

Only people who get hate usually die from doom, unless nobody do something stupid in the alliance and get everyone killed. Last time, i got back my level from thief subjob after deleveling it doing this mission

I'm still not sure what to do. I dont have any computer and I doubt it will be ready by 2-3pm.

Would be nice if anyone could make alliance instead of me if they know what to do inside phomunia ><
