Does trick attack guarantee a hit?

As far as I know sneak attack, (assuming you're lined up correctly,) is a 100% hit.

Also, I wonder how THF would gain TP, hit Vrta for 0 with dagger for 0, hit bones for 0 with dagger ;D

Unless every THF had SAM sub, which is viable.

With Assasin trait it IS A garunteed hit but before that, no, it's not.

Ah, ok. They don't have anything like the blunt polearm/gkt for THF do they? I guess a THF/NIN with dagger/kraken combination could get decent TP gain off bones, but skeleton TP moves suck so badly. Blind, Slow, AoE HP drain, etc.

To beat Vrtra... we will need 3 alliances of lvl 75 DRGs to spam Ancient Circle and pray Dragon Killer kicks in often.

Yes, everyone in CKD, FS, etc. will have to bear the pain of getting DRG to 75 =P

Of course this would never work but it would be funny to see 54 DRGs use Ancient Circle, Jump, High Jump, Pentathrust, Super Jump, etc. all while being torn apart mercilessly by Spartoi Warriors.

Okay, so it wouldn't be THAT funny...

But that BRD JSE body looks hot enough to warrant a try at Vrtra =P lol.

Anyhow, yeah... as MANY have stated before, the problem isn't Vrtra, it's the Spartoi around him.

Personally, I say that if you want to beat him (this may have been stated before, but w/e, just ideas): Have an alliance dedicated to killing him, and an alliance of MNKs, BLMs, and BRDs to take care of the Spartoi and the stronger skeletons he summons later.

Of course, that's still A LOT of people... would take some serious coordination to pull off and his drops wouldn't be THAT worthwhile unless 36+ people are willing to get the cashmere for a BRD to get JSE. That is of course unless there are MORE drops that he has that haven't been found because he isn't killed that often >.>

And that ends the little.... I dunno.... Purity Paragraphs.... take them as you will.

Eat mor Chikin. kthxbailuvyalotz.

i have an idea!!!!!

just have a few NIN, SMN, WHM, BRD, RDM partys pull the bones away and not kill them but just hold them there, have the smns cast stoneskin so that the aoe drain is not bad and of course the brd and rdm can be refreshing and enfeebling. BRD can just be enhancing the NINs evasion and NIN doest even need to hit the damn things, so that should also cut back on their TP moves.

of course this will only work if he only summons a certain amount. which i dont know if he does or not.

Could this work?

Shit i dunno, lol.

I think Mikey said it before, but its not about drops. Its about coordinating a joint-LS event with other NA LSs. I personally dont care about drops or a title. I just want to be part of helping take this guy down and doing something fun with the top NA LSs all at once.

I'm not even interested in the dragons. Seem like a waste of time. lol However, I think playing games involving the dragons would be fun. Did you know you can stand at Jorgamand's tail and not get aggro! Stand at the tail and see how long you can /follow him!
