on the nice side... leaving before the next expansion will save you some $ and 100+ hours for sure (still you have to ask yourself, do you really want to find out the real story on the expansion?)

The addiction lvl on these games are worse then crack. They can take over your RL, so I know where you're coming from.



Was funny, got a tell yesterday saying "your ebaying your character?". I guess people are talking, think i'm this huge ebayer because of a silly comment I made in that other thread.

Fact is, yes I sold my EQ account. On ebay? No. Sold L65 Rogue account to a RL friend and reserved the option to buy him back if I ever wanted to play again. My L65 chanter account I GAVE away to good friend and guild mate, he took over the monthly payments and played him, but I still had user/password If I ever wanted to log in and chat with the guild.

I just hate seeing all that hard work deleted. And although you say right now you never want to play again, 4-5 months from now that could change, and with SE's hard policy of deleting characters after 3 months you would be SOL

So even though you dont want to sell your char, atleast think about paying for it every 2.5 months so it's not deleted, or sell/give account to a good friend like I did so they can keep it active incase you ever want to come back.

we had our fair share of disagreements tooyooo, but i have to say, im sad to see you go as well. I remember all of the days of VKnight, back when it was prosperous. I also understand fully about why you would want to give away all equipment and delete your character. If you really don't want to spend your time here, it may be the only way from keeping you away. Sometimes, if you leave all of your stuff here, in a few months you will just come back and be addicted again. Anyways, good luck irl and always remember to have fun. You only live life once.

rubyxiii/ you can't really deal with people quitting.. they will surely leave a empty spot in your heart, but you just have to suck it up, and move on.

I still miss some people from other MMO that I played - and it really feels great when you hear back from them, even if it's once every other year thing.
