Ohhh, my THF is 40 :)
didnt think THFs were useful in BCNMs

BC60 (tonberry one) has a real nice set up with THF.

If i'm not mistaken =
PLD, THF, MNK(or DRG to 'Jump' when THF TA's), BLM, RDM, WHM(or RDM#2)

Worms is pretty good...drops Erase and Utsesemi:Ni. I have only done it for the scrolls to use and not to sell.

Gotta have BLM to sleep the mobs and keep them slept, then kill the NM, then pick off the other worms one-by-one.

The run I went on we used a PLD tank, RNG for distance, WHM, RDM for refresh and I think the sixth was a second RNG. Haven't done it, but BLM and WHM and 4 RNGs would also probably work well. BRD worked very well instead of RDM for some later runs, since he could ballad + accuracy bonus + Foe Lullaby.

Make sure everyone has good food and drinks and that everyone stays back (except the PLD if you use one). Halfway through you can pull everyone back and rest to full (a great advantage in this one because the worms can't chase you). I think we went on a full moon and got Erase or Ni 5/6 runs.

Hmmm...Ninja tank probably would not be great because the wormies cast Stonega.

Well the reason you need a THF for the mandragora one is that there are a lot of mobs that the BRD has to sleep over-and-over-and-over again, hence, building up a ton of hate so you need to SA/TA onto the tank to get some of the last few off the BRD... lol Isn't required but it really does help.

I did the worm one once and hated it. It took way longer than the mandy oen in Giddeus.

I've done the mandy one about eleventy billion times mainly because it's quick and easy. Only thing here is it's best to have a GOOD brd that won't panic when the mandies start attacking them after they wake.

Another reason I prefer the mandy one is because you aren't so limited on job choices like you are with the worms..

If you're refering to the Worm's Turn BCNM40 in Waughshroom Shrine then surely you should know rdms don't have refresh for it

i still prefer pld, they have cure for when Dream Flower happens, they can pull hate off bard a lot better than nin, and nin blink doesnt work as well against double-hitters like mandras. yea nin would work. war tank works too. its an easy bcnm as long as the bard knows what he's doing.

yeah, really the bard is the most important part. Nin works well if you have a thief, otherwise not so good. And although the 2 hit, for most part the mandies have terrible acc and miss me alot, especially after the black one is down shadows almost never fall.

Heh I did the mandy bcnm and kima tanked as a rng/nin so nin tank does fine from my experience, just important that the bard keeps the mobs together so they can be slept easier together. We had thf sata mandys off of me onto kima's rng/nin so he could establish hate.

Eternus lets do BCNM40! I can go as THF to SATA sleeping mobs onto tank to wake them up. I really need Utsusemi: Ni, Survival Belt, and gil! I have 352 seals I need to burn. Help me out, PLEASE!

The worm one is best imo, 2 RDM 2 RNG 1 BLM, rdm may not have refresh but convert still owns any mages children

Out of all the BCNM4os I would have to say Royal Jelly is the easiest and most profitable.

Waughroom Shrine BCNM 40 - Royal Jelly
3 Man BCNM - I usually go with RNG RNG RDM or WHM.

Buzzard Tuck
De Saintre's Axe
Dusky Staff
Gold Beastcoin
Grudge Sword
Himmel Stock
Mana Ring
Marksman's Ring
Scroll: Air Spirit Pact
Scroll: Erase
Scroll: Fire Spirit Pact
Scroll: Ice Spikes
Scroll: Phalanx
Scroll: Refresh
Scroll: Utsusemi: Ni
Sealed Mace
Shikar Bow
Steel Ingot
Steel Sheet

tanks really aren't all that important in the steaming sprout.
i prefer to have drk to pull it off me when i do it.. they're pretty good at making tons of hate ^^
from my experience thfs SATA don't work too well with this bc.. at least when u're pulling since it's hard to tell which one to engage ^^

most important member to me is my personal healer... very rarely would the brd screw up in this bc.. most of the time it's just healer not keeping up with the healing or pulled hate from the brd but won't stay close to the bard.

Another good bc is undying promise if u have whm,pld,mnk/nin or creeping doom rng, rng or thf/rng, whm or another rng/nin :)

ps. if u really can't find a brd, i can come help too.

Yes, I made a mistake...convert not refresh...usually when the group pulls back to heal to full. Hey...I have plenty of self-confidence and can admit when I make a mistake in a post. :D LOL I started to put a sarcastic comment in here, but meh lol I just don't care that much...it's a GAME! Hahahahahahahahaha!
