Afirmative Action helps females of all races and males of all races but white men. And of course there is the Status Quota, that right there is hurts white males in getting jobs. Many jobs out there are given to under qualified people because of the "Status Quota"......So for you to go off on Ike like that is completey un justified.
And from my personal expeirence, I am not racist at all so don't take this wrong, but many inner city blacks expect many things given to them. I use to live in Chicago and I have seen this first hand. The city builds a nice new park for the inner city familes and not 1-2 months later its destroyed and all those families expect something new. And you said how black mothers just give up, or is the reality that they don't give up but just expect things given to them. Many won't go out and try to find jobs but instead just live off all our tax money and just leach off of welfare.
Many of those families in inner city poverty striken areas "could" make a better life for them selves and the people around them but just don't try. Honestly if the gov't took away welfare, food stamps and many other "gifts" I bet you would see a lot of things change. People would start giving a damn because they aren't just given money. Even where I live now in rural kansas....and yea...omg...its white people....living in poverty....if the gov't where to take away all those "gifts" I would put money on its they would start working to live. I see everyday people coming in living off food stamps w/ 5-6 children and are maybe 30 years old. My dad is a P.A. in a rural emergency room, and he sees everyday people come in because they are on medicare and know they won't pay a dime. Even if the illness is not even worth coming in but the do and why because they won't have to pay for it.
I am a firm believer of you earn what you deserve, and I know many of those welfare families don't deserve those checks because they won't do crap....they just live off our tax money.
