lol i love bcnm40 now after failing around 6-8 times i can successfully sit all 30mins sleeping the things and healing myself when needed. i cant believe the price tag on that though :s at that price id expect it to be like 4' tall |

Feh, I hate BCNM... I've only beaten it once, got my phalanx and refresh scrolls, thank goodness... Every other attempt has failed miserably, no matter what at least 1 person screws it up for the rest of us... "Okay, if i type "RUN AWAY!!!!" Flood is being cast and you need to haul ass out of range, run for the burning circle." ---"Got it!" 10 minutes later... lol, in that cause your treating flood wrong... if Flood gets cast you should already have a RDM and the RDM *MUST* cast silence to stop flood, if for some reason it fails you need to get a stun WS off, flood is normally cast early in the fight and the bard shoulda cast Water Carol and you should BarWater on too, these alone can stop flood anyhow. Flood is the least of your worries, only times ive lost BCNM40 recently are due to getting paralysed and no1 removes it then the mandy wake up and i cant cast paraylna on myself cause im getting hit and i cant cast lullaby cause im paralysed... i know what yor thinking i should stay away so i dont get hit, but whenever i try to move it seems people like to follow me around anyhow 
Still BCNM40 is not that hard, just make sure you have enough dmg, ill never do BCNM40 without 2rng(dmg), a drk (for stun) and a rdm(convert)/whm(paralyna) other people can be anything, nice to have a bst though. Maybe we can go do one sometime if you like |

My LS is 5/5 on BCNM40 and 5/5 on BCNM60. It's pretty easy when you can trust your teammate, and when they work in a team instead of doing what they want. Tip: Try to have 2 healers, one for the bard and one for the fighting team. BTW, Mandies are nothing compared to Tonberries: Throat Stab + Mijin Gakure + Astral Flow = {fun} & {excitement}

heh, yea if im with people i know we never loose. and yeah the bcnm60s do hit harder but then again you have alot more healing ability too, and occasionally some1 dies and you just have to sleep everything for the raise and then check mp and continue. honestly i dont see why people fear bcnms they are great fun and you can get some much needed items. just for the love of god never run away. worst case is you loose like 400xp (wow thats 2 kills in an xp pt). im gonna have to try and make videos of bcnms fights one day and post them as i do alot of them (its the only way i ever get gil heh) |

Our DRG died 2 times in BC60, both times because of Astral Flow... Unfortunately, because of our setup (RDM/BLM/BRD/NIN/WAR/DRG) we don't have access to Raise II, which sucks.... And call me crazy, but I had my LS escort my mule to Sacrificial Chamber, so we can open the gate without having to get the Flames everytime... Hope the cash we'll make will cover the potential death of my plants... |

I remember when my perma group first did them. We did like 10 runs in one day and didnt lose a single time. Shiloh even traded me some ass rdm spell for erase.  shiloh

I have had some bad luck doing the shroom bcnm 40.. the first cpl times it was b/c we really didn't know what to do and were still learning. the last 2 times however.. those from my perm that were there, performed FLAWLESSLY.. we had a pld brd whm rdm rng drk on the first run through. The first run through the rdm was healing myth.. myth was doing fantastic on keeping the extra mandys slept.. then the rdm somehow pulled hate from 2 mandys onto himself, and took off running out of myths lullabye range so he died, myth then dies cause the whm couldn't get back fast enuf to heal him.. then the whm dies.. 2 people got out of the arena (even though we had reraise) and then the rdm threw a tantrum and left. (he was the one who invited us too.. :/ ) didn't even say sorry for messing up.. so then we get another whm to join us.. and we are doing FLAWLESSLY.. I mean you couldn't DO better. we had the black mandy dead, and a second normal mandy dead.. but I needed some mp back and so did the whm who was healing the fighter party. so the rng says med up-wait til the whm has 150+ mp. so we're goign to stay back.. and the plan is to have the drk pull w/ poison so it breaks the sleep and then I can flash/voke and pull it back to our fighting grp. well, when I've got one tick of mp (so like 20 mp now) and the whm has maybe 80, the rng decides its a good idea to go up and fire an arrow at it. So the thing starts moving, but casts sleep.. and b/c it had moved out of myths original pile, the sleep hits the rng, and everyone else in fighting pt.. including our whm and myself who are still trying to med some mp back. so milamber runs up to cure our whm so she can wake the rest of us up.. and the thing casts sleep again and hits milamber. so now mythrandir is the only one not sleeping.. and all of the mandys come out of sleep, and hes being nailed and ends up dying. so then everyone else dies cause of course when the bard goes everything goes. I asked the rdm why he pulled before we were ready.. and he just leaves the pt w/o saying anything. if he had just waited we would've nailed it flawlessly.. I'm still bitter as you can tell

Did BCNM 40 3 times, died all three times. It's like Viviti said, someone didn't know what their job was, so everyone died. My party's (at that time, not VKD) main error, was that the bard didn't have too much experience with "Horde Lulluby". i guess he didn't use it often, so he didn't keep the madies asleep after the first cast, and we got owned. Also, everyone was running around trying to fight all the mady's, instead of one at a time, when i went for the Black one. So of course i got owned, and everyone else soon followed. I don't think i've won a BCNM yet, with anyone. I hate my bad luck, lol. |

I did 4 time tried bcnm and its was not fun, Before hand I know what to do and told the team how to do this and must be done right the first time, Well guess what..... "I do it my way" well when I saw that happen I knew when to run away and only me and bard would be only one make it out. and I did die once from flood cuzz of other was biggest spam I had never seen in my life and missed that "mandy casting flood" well sure hell took me out good thing I had reraise on me. |

hmmm...We better inform clobont to stun the stupid bastard when he starts casting Flood, maybe we can take him because flood was the only problem we ever had, it would kill the tank and then the mandys would start running wild
We usually have...RDM,WHM,DRK,BST,BRD,PLD Its a good party altogether but usually someone (usually the pld) would try to do their own thing and ruin it for the rest of us -_- |
