Can someone help me with the model viewer?

Post subject:  Can someone help me with the model viewer?
When I use the model viewer I only get the launch models and the RotZ models. I dont get anything else. I dont have the newest expansion, but I want to play with the last xpack in 3DS max.

I think you need to have everything installed with ffxi and up to date on your computer to be able to see the .dats in model viewer. I had the same problem not too long ago, I searched everywhere for an updates list of .dats... I even went and downloaded altana viewer trying to get updated shit.. but still had the same issue. goodluck.. if you figure it out let me know.

That makes sense. I havent done any of the updates because I dont have an active account. I guess I'll try activating my account for a month. Maybe I'll grab the new xpack too.

God I hate that its impossible to get back into FFXI.

Was this us shouting about beets in Port Jeuno?

Also, my model viewer dosnt give me the new models either, and obviously my account and everything has been updated.

I logged back in yesterday just to run around. I now realize I should have reactivated Talisin's character and not Yarr, oh well.

I remember FFXI being much nicer looking. I had it cranked up to 1920x1200 with the reg hack to crank it up even more. I never really had any slow downs, but the game runs poorly still at 30fps.

Like, how much of Aht Urgan and Wings of the Goddess?

If you want, I can do Assault, Campaign, etc with you if you get on and are bored.

I'm pretty good at coming up with fun/strange things to do.
