We are done, 6/12 beat the Bc in Riverne, the other party (mine) sucked and we got wiped

The most "wanted" job for the BC are Rng, Smn, Nin or War/nin and Rdm/whm/blm. Smn, rng and nin are the best on the long run. If a party isnt full, some people might have to do it more than once.

I'm not exactly sure of the number since no english website is listing them. But in order, you have to
1) get the 3 cutscene in the Safehold
2) go in the sewer and fight the minotaur (15minute NM). That one cast doom (10sec and you die), so everybody need a lot of holy water
3) Riverne site's BC (I think it's one of the locked area in the area outside Tazvnazia, I will check later)

Both mission could be done in theory with 6 people, however, I doubt we could go much farther, especially in Promyvion-Zvalth if we stay with a small 6 people group. The best would be 18 players, with many rng/smn/blinktank but it will not happen. For now, I'm just trying to create a small group ~12 people that will be able to advance in CoP mission

All mission I mentionned are capped at 40, so is the next one in Pso-Xja (I think)


There is no best party, however, Rng, Nin and war/nin, Smn, Brd, Rdm, Blm and Whm are probably the most needed. We could take any other job but we still need to keep a balance in the party.

I have 3 jobs i can come as, THF, RNG, and NIN, RNg is only 36 atm but i can get it to 40 in like a day. List me as THF for now, i hear thats a good choice because i can pick a gate or something.

Thief is a good choice for the minotaur mission since they can lockpit the door before the boss battle, attack it and have everyone in the area "draw in" next to the boss, ninja and ranger would be better for the BC. I added you for now as a thief but it might change depending on who we get ^^ thank you

I have a question for thief, do you think it's possible to kite 2 of the 3 guy around the BC until we kill the other one? They can't be sleep and we have to keep them busy until we kill the first one. Their job also switch a couple of time during the BC. Thief could easily avoid them for 1 minute with flee and perfect dodge, but after that, it might be hard to not get hit (6 more shadow with utsu)


1- Thief run in first and get the aggro
2- Tank get one
3- Everybody go postal on it (icarius wing, 2 hour, barrage)
4- Have the Rdm gravity kite the last one while melee kill the 2nd
5- Everybody on the last one

Its a tough tough BC, makes the Proms look like a joke. It was actually really really easy back before the patch after CoP. The yellow Liquid would keep them from changing jobs. YL does almost nothing now.


NIN can easily keep one tied up, however, you need to watch what job they change to, because it can be tricky with some jobs (blm).


Im still waiting to try and beat it with 6 SMN haha.

The reason why I'm trying to get those mission done is because many people are leaving. The more we wait, the harder it will be to get people for those thing, and I really want to see those cutscene

Also, from the information I got, yellow liquid bind their job for 30 sec now and give a lot of hate, it's nice to buy some time but it will not save our life sadly.

Square is being evil with us We're buying their game since 10 years, but the only thing they do to pay us back is nerf us or find a way to make us feel more miserable. CoP is really not that great. Most of the new map are beautiful, but totally useless. Mission are really interesting, but it's almost impossible to enjoy any of them because of the difficulty level.
I must be crazy but I swear I'm not quitting the game before I complete those mission.

Its really not that much harder now after yellow liquid nerf. The main reason people lose is the same from before the patch =p.


All the BCs so far have been pretty easy really. its all the BC item farming that they make you do that is total bs heh.

They suck? ...yes a lot of people do. Too bad none of us do :wink:. As long we are organized and know what we are going to do, we should be able to beat that BC, and probably the following

2-Entrance of the "secret" tunnel that lead to the minotaure = I-6
3-Open the gate with key or thief tool at G-8
