I've been trying to get this damn initial patch all day and now.... when my computer finally doesn't reboot, POL is downloading very slowly. As for my internet it's working fine. I download at like 400-500kbs.

Just wondering if it's a POL problem

I have been having problems with FFXI, not pol itself.
I have the battle (Music) volume all the way down, anhd sometimes when
i engage in a battle for some reason the battle music blasts all the way up lol. So i go to the menu and check if the Musci volume is up, and it isnt.
I have to respat FFXI in order to get the music to stop playing.

Also, my summons are all crewed up and see through. Its wierd,
dont have time to fix it though lol.

Edit: oh and last night i was R0'ing a lot. The 3 seconds R0's. Its wierd because no1 else lagged, and Sase, LittleJohn live close to me and they were fine.

poor fattino BTW what CD-ROM or DVD model and speed are you using? I never had any plm with my DVD burner that runs in high speed.


Edit: no plm here with my speed is still good when I D/L from POL. but sadly I have to update both my PC and PS2

Well I left POL on to update last night..... and it's at 50%.

It's going to take another 8 1/2 hours to update, I dunno wtf is going on.

I don't know what's been up with mine this past week. I play for a few hours, then i DC and can't get back on for anything that night. Eventually the next day i can get on. Not quite sure what's going on with it. Checked my cable modem and it's working ok. My laptop is still flying strong (i'm ps2) But i've noticed this problem since i moved. So having a new line installed. Hope that fixes it. But i feel your pain.

my cd-rw was a 48x12x48x max speeds and it brew my cop disk up. i want my money back lol. it came with my hp comp so i wouldnt know what kind it was unless i dug it out of the trash

lolz fat well I ether guess that cd-rom speed control that gone bad or SEI made that disk self-termnate(s?) in 5 sec
