Ok so Rubyxiii, Kayne, Ilm, Hcc, Fattino and I went and tried this BCNM out just cause we never really heard of anyone doing it. So we looked up what information we could about it and went in (with only three orbs). The BCNM has four Treants each Representing a season (Summer, Winter, Spring, Fall) and their jobs are DRK WHM NIN and MNK. They are like Promyvion-Vahzl style which means that when you attack one, the next doesnt attack until the first one does its two-hour ability. So we went in the first time, and decided to go for the MNK. What a horrible mistake this was. We got it to a sliver when the NIN woke up and we wiped. The MNK hit Fattino 200 each swing x2 (MNKs hit twice) and it had constant 100 fists, it never took a break lol. To make matters worse every time he hit: Additional Effect; Stun. So we wiped. We didnt know if it would aggro again so I Reraised and died instantly because it did indeed. I ate a Raise II then we medded and shit and went back again. The second time we fared a lil better. We got thru the DRK which was a pussy then the WHM, which is tough to kill a lil but we did it. The MNK came next. We tried to kite it this time cause Fat has the +12% movement speed leggings and Ruby Gravitied it. Gravity landed but guess what the MNK didnt slow down. So basically after all that we wiped again lol. Third time. Same tactic we took out the DRK and WHM (who was considerbly easier this time) and then we decided that we didnt want the MNK to be kited, so we took it out to the entrance and ilm hit the jackpot: Thundaga III for 1570 HP. We let ourselves wipe, after it did his SP (100 fists) reraised then killed it by Sleep, Nuke, Sleep, Nuke. The NIN was a bitch to kill but compared to the MNK it was cake. Ilm ended up dying because we nuked it and we thought we had lost cause Ruby and I had no MP. Ruby popped a Vile Elixer +1, Chainspell and Fire III killed it. I opened the chest. We beat the BCNM and it took us 29:38 secs, 22 secs more and we would have been fucked. The reason why Im telling you all this is cause its probably one of the better times I have ever had on FFXI. I lost exp but it seriously took a lot of strategy and I had a blast. And so you know, the only orb we got drops from we made about 2.6 million gil. So if you can beat it 6 times, youll make good money too |

I heard that's probably the hardest BCNMs in the game and congrats guys, I am almost willing to bet you 6 are probably like the only people to ever have beaten the damn thing on Ifrit (and just about all the other servers) :P Money is always cool but, care to list the drops? |

What was your PT setup? Cuz Ilm, Hcc, Ruby, coulda went several ways... I am guessing: Kayne MNK Fattino PLD Severus WHM Rubyxiii RDM Ilm BLM Hcc BLM Yea, a drop list would be nice. You said 2.6 mil for 1 battle. Sounds great but like Supafly said, this is one of the hardest BCNMs, grats guys! |

Hcc actually went as MNK but BLM probably would have been better, like I said, we didnt know much going into it |

Yea i just ran to the corner. Sevs lies is make me distrurbed irl. Anwyway the bc is easy aside from the MNK. Elemental magic seems to get somewhere around a 20% dmg bonus to him, so if you setup a fragmentation chain or w/e you could MB for like 2.5k pretty easily heh. He hits blm for like 450 a swing, but is pretty easy to crowd control. Spell dmg was average on the NIN and real low on the other 2 but those were pussies anyway. |
