I have been thinking about this for a while now...especially right after Christmas when some of my best friends left the game. Most have come back now, even some who are starting completely over.

I got to 75 the first week in January, and now two months later I'm kinda bored with end game stuff. I'm not positive that it's worth it to get the coolest gear for a job I'll never XP again, I guess I could get cool gear for another job, but I'm not sure I'll take another job to 75...

I have seen others go through this and now it's my turn. Here is what currently keeps me playing:

1) I love my LS, TheJoiningOfSix, and I want to keep doing fun stuff with the LS. I'm especially enjoying the CoP stuff.

2) I love my non-LS friends and want to be able to help them through LBs, AF, etc. I also like hanging out with them, even when they don't need help.

3) I can finally level NIN to 37 to sub to RDM, now that I have DRK to 37, haha.

4) I'm doing more crafting and fishing than I did when I was working hard to get to 75.

Bottom line: I'm not driven to accomplish anything in game like I was driven to get to 75. Maybe it's because I love RDM so much so every other job seems less interesting to level.

What are your thoughts? What keeps you playing?

I'm in the Virgin of quitting. I havent been playing lately mainly because things are just plain repetitive for me.
I got my first AF2 piece, and that makes me wanna keep my character just for dynamis. Which is most likely what i'll do.

You people made me try MxO... So now, i play that instead whenever i have time. Its a nice, nice game.

My friends in game. I want to see them have all their goals achieved and help them out however I can. Even for small things, I don't want to let down my friends ever again. I'll work my hardest for them.

And MxO is pretty fun. What sort of character you making Kioto? I made a coder. lol

I think about this sometimes..."why am I still playing". I tried quitting a couple times, only to come back like 4/5 of the people that quit. I came back b/c I was getting attacked with emails (even phone calls >_>) from several good friends I had in the game. Made me miss them bad and want to play with them again. It's the people that keep me playing. There is alot in this game that frustrates me, but I grew attached to my in-game friends and LS. If I didn't have them I wouldn't be playing anymore.

The fact that half the ppl that i was tied in lvl with in my 30's are now at 70's and 75. Makes me want to check up to them and pwn them in Ballista. :P

What do you mean? The overall game Performance is awesome so far.
The game will have bugs like any new game, its takes time.
I found it very fun, and the Missions arent boring at all.
Maybe, you should put a little more time into it. Kung-Fu style is awesome.

Kioto I tried. I really did. The game is so bad it's unplayable and the combat is as rigid as some lame penis analogy.

Huh? Maybe you didnt figure out how the combat strategy works, but its pretty fraking good.
I mean, its no street fighter, but its more tactic higher lv's.
