So what job did you first start out with in FF. You know one of the six core jobs (WAR THF MNK WHM BLM RDM) and why did you choose the job you are now.

I chose WHM as my main job and obviously stuck with WHM to 75. Why? I always wanted to be a SMN, hence the reason why i started with WHM. I stuck out with WHM cause i loved it. It takes a lot more to be a WHM in my opinion than just sitting there, you haev to be on your guard at all times and I love that.

so i just started out as a warrior and used a spear up to 30 with my lvl 10 mnk sub heh

Took WAR to 10 then quit. I was tired of dying because I had no magic. My son suggested I try Red Mage because it had some attack capability and some magic.

When I was around level 18 as Red Mage, I was running back from the dunes when a friend rode by on a chocobo (omg I was jealous lol) in La Thiene. He was around level 50, which to me was omg-high-level. He said "Stay Red Mage, at my level a party never goes out without one and there are never enough." I have loved it ever since.

I never even really seriously took an advanced job...took DRG to 17 and haven't played it since. I opened NIN and DRK to sub to RDM.

Funny ending to the story...WAR turned out to be handy because I had it leveled up some when I started DRK. At least I didn't have to start both jobs from scratch...lol.

I started as THF, since I originally wanted to be a SAM/THF. still do really, but first I wanna get SMN to 75.

Started with WAR, took it to 18. Then started THF (sub), took it to 15 -_-;; Then went back to WAR and levelled it to 33 when I unlocked PLD. Took PLD to 66 then went back to level THF to 18 and WAR to 37. When the game was released for PS2, I already had my 3 main jobs planned out, PLD, THF, and NIN.

Honestly I wish I would have levelled THF up first, then start on PLD and NIN. Oh well, everything happens for a reason... I love to tank so PLD and NIN are obvious, and THF is for own personal solo fun, plus they can Evasion Tank 74+.

I heard a GOOD THF can tank Charybdis, gonna be hard as hell to keep hate tho. 74+ THF can tank Roc a bit easier since anyone who gets hate can just zone into Gar. Citadel and back out... How the hell did I get on HNMs... wtf.

WHM was the first thing i played. got to 61 and started to seriously get aggrivated with the job. its amazing how many ppl feel as if they can order you around in a xp pt. stopped playing it for a bit and lvd thf then went back to WHM and took it to 75 ignoring all the retards going "haste me, omg im blinded, erase!!!!"

I started out MNK, because I wanted to go MNK/SAM someday. Took it to 25, and also took my WHM to 25, as I was consdering going PLD/WHM, HA! Wow, was I ever a dope back then.

Then I deleted my character, and started again. I enjoyed the melee of MNK and casting of WHM, so I went RDM, figuring I could do both (ok, so now I go pure mage in XP party, but w/e).

And here I am, level 64 RDM (almost 65) and still loving it. I've dabbled in the other jobs, but RDM always pulls me back.

Started as a war, and had mixed feelings as to what i should do as my main job. DRG/SAM pwned back in the day, but i also enjoyed tanking as my war(taking damage is fun). But, samurai fits me personally, i collect katanas, love the whole old jpn code of honor, bushido, so stuck with sam.

I've been thinkin about lvling a mage job next, since i never have liked magic in RPGs, always focused on melee...
