Yeah Ike. Every MMORPG has its own set of problems. Most try to remedy the situation and prevent it from happening further.

O m g. You have NO experience with MMOs then lol.

FFXI is a GODSEND of stability. SE is GREAT.

Yeah SE does amazing jobs with their servers. They are hardly ever down at all. EQ2 does daily reboots of their servers every morning I believe, or they used to, and well, we know how good Blizzard's Server Maintenance team is.

i have never been to fond of any computergames period... i like the feeling of a controller.. so yaw ffxi was my first online game

DAoC was the best haha. Heres what a typical patch day was like.


Server down 3 hours.
Server back up for an hour.
Mythic Devs find a major bug.
Servers go back down for 2 hours.
Servers come back up for an hour.
Mythic Devs find another major bug.
Servers go back down for an hour.

Servers went up and down, not to mention the ballance of the game is changed ever patch. One day a Ranger is the most powerful job in the game. The next hes horrible and hardly even worth playing. Atleast it only took a week to XP to max level.

Post samething happen to me but I was booted while in sky. Go to log back on adn i got the error :-(

WoW had and update like every 3 days for me, ff was also my first economy based MMO, ive played starcraft and red alert online lol
