It's time for me to get working on something I want to accomplish and I'm using it as a reason to take a long desired extended break. I might be back in a few months, I might not. I don't know for sure.

Alright, I'll explain since people want to know what's going on. oO

A few nights ago I'm not exactly sure what happened, but I suddenly felt very motivated to get back to work on composing. I've decided I'm going to work on 3 compositions to try and get into a music conservatory for the '06 school year while I finish my associates this fall. Originally I wanted to get my degree in music education but theory/composition seems much more appealing to me.

Besides FFXI being a distraction, it also leaves me drained, taking away any creativity I could've ever hoped to have had, (very depressing.)

Anyway, I'm taking some time off to start on the preliminary work for this. Perhaps I'll even use this as sort of a journal, (like the Yarr's work out thread posts.) It'd be different if I wasn't working 40-45 hours a week, but I need to survive too.

I will talk to you on AIM SS and I wish you the best in your musical compositions. If taking a break from this game is what will help you most in your career in music then this is a break you need to take. I fully expect to see you back in game though and would be suprised if you quit for good.
