AKA: "I ain't paying no 4mil gil for a pair of specs." I am looking for lvl60+ (obviously) players who have done this bcnm before and are skilled with tactics to win. By looking, I mean hoping to hire. I currently have the beastman's seals for 2 Moon Orbs and I will happily use both of them, even if the specs drop after round 1. If you, and who ever else can help me win the bcnms, and the spectacles drop, you can keep every other item that drops. If the specs don't drop in either of the two battles, then we'll evenly split the gil from the drops. It probably won't be enough to get me my specs, but every bit more is that much less I need to farm... Anyone skilled with this bcnm and looking for a free wad of gil? Whatever the outcome, specs or not, you still walk away with a nice stash of goodies. Imagine the off chance we get specs dropped from both rounds...thats 4 mil plus you and 4 others have a chance to split. Edit: Hell...in the offchance anyone would be willing, I'd happily give them and their friends EVERY DROP FROM BOTH bcnms if they gave me their own pair of specs...shit's sake...you got a chance of pretty much getting them back AND more. Where as, yes, I'm more then aware I may be screwing myself over in this deal depending what drops, I am not a TOTAL retard...The specs will be traded to me before hand. There will be no "OMG! The specs dropped! I give him mine NOW, and we get everything!" style BS played. I realize you yourself would be taking risk in this deal, aswell, in the chance we get a bunk set of drops, or do not win the battles. In such case, I will trade your specs back, and revert to the "everything divided by everyone" offer. Edit 2: If neither battle is won...I think it's safe to assume you probably aren't as versed in the bcnm as you said, just looking to score a quick buck, in which case, no, you will not be paid anything. |

Just advice: I did this once with PLD, BLM, WHM, DRG, RDM, RNG setup I think. It was a long while ago, but we were 2 wins, 2 losses. Assault Earring dropped once, which was nice, but no specs. This battle is very dependant on keeping your BLM alive. Sleepga II will win this BC. Keep the mobs slept and kill them in this order I think: BLM>>RNG>>DRK>>WAR>>MNK>>PLD. Do not seperate these mobs outside the -ga range of Sleepga. Keep them all bunched together as best as you can. If they split (2 on BLM, 3 on tank for example) theres no way you can subdue them all before they either kill your BLM or tank or WHM. If you have a BRD it will be easier to subue the Orcs if this happens though. Your BLM must be very competent, and now how to keep these mobs slept. Throwing a BRD into this mix would also be extremely useful for giving your BLM time to recast while the BRD keeps the other mobs slept. Generally, once the DRK is down, its all downhill from there. The MNK and PLD will be easy to kill. I did this BC many months ago, so this is as best as I can remember it. |

It does make it alot easier to have a brd or someone that can sleepaga1. they can sleep giving the blm time to cast without being interupted or hit a lot. I've even done this one with brd and a rdm and been fine, but be ready for crappy drops because specs are rare. |

drop rate too crappy to risk 2 orbs for this, go try tonberrys chances of good torques drops arent bad... infact it was great last time i did it, total of 8/6 of good torques ^^ (yep multiple torques can drop and good ones too!!!) |

I'm 0/4 on specs, but it's an easy BCNM. If you want to gamble go for it. If you would like the strategy we used ask me, I'm not sure if you have a strat for it already :D |

This the one in Horlais Peak right? I did it with SAM NIN BLM BLM BLM BRD and we owned it just sucky drops. We had one BLM be the official sleepga person. BLM's nuke and healed NIN and I when needed. NIN and I just melee attacked and SCed Distortion. I don't remember what order we killed anything though except we killed the MNK orc(who always does hundred fists) and the PLD one last. I don't know what job you are but it's easy. I think one round we had SAM NIN BLM BLM WHM BRD 'cause the whm just wanted to burn his orb or something.. still was easy. I think having atleast 2 BLM NIN and BRD is guarenteed win. |

Well, this thread is now kind of worthless. I caved in and just bought the specs. I still have a moon orb in my mog house though. If anyone is interested in trying to go along, I'de be happy to split the gil from whatever drops. |

Ken, try to do an antican or tonbery lv 60 run. The loot/orb is usually much better than anywhere else. |

Thank you for the tip. I'll do a bit of research into which lvl60 BCNM has drops I'd preffer. |
