Makes me cry that it's just a tech demo. :P

FF7 seriously needs to be just remade and released, it would sell just as much as it did before even if they didn't change the game itself at all.

yeah FF III or VI (JP) was better only because it had like 10 storylines and like 40 characters. A game of that size would take years and years and years to make.

Who said FF6 wasn't good either? Yeah FF6 is my favourite and if i wanted to pick ONE to remake it'd prolly be that one. They'd need to brush up the story a bit though because I don't think it'd work too well on "new" customers. It's a bit too "classic FF" sometimes if you get what i mean.

But I really thing SE are gonna remake FF7 soon. They've been giving it a lot of attention. First they made this sequel movie thing (AV) and then they announce a FF7 "prequel spin-off" staring Vincent while he was in the Turks, and now they make a huge tech demo using new hardware all based around FF7.

thats rendered live ruby so its actual ingame footage, assuming there was a game. Its a tech demo. If you look at past tech demos youll notice that they dont even come close to showing off the real power of a system.

Yep.

Although I do have to say that the version of FFIV they released for PS was significantly better, (better translation and stuff,) than the super NES version. It was just pretty damn short if you wanted to sit and beat it.

And yea, I hated FF VIII as well. lol

Back in the day, SE made a FF6 demo like this for N64 too. Don't get your hopes up, they won't remake anything yet. Haha.

IV and VI own. FFVIII sucks I totally agree >_< I disliked how the enemies leveled when you do, disliked drawing, disliked the way you made gil (not droping from enemies), the whole GF system, etc.

I would not be opposed to a remake of FFVII >_> I liked that game alot. I agree I would rather see VI. That was a favorite on SNES and it was a nice treat to get a better idea of what the chartacters look like when it got released on PS in the US. The FMVs on the FFVI disc for PS would still give me goosebumps today b/c I loved the story and characters so much. If it got totally remade..omg.
