Post subject:  Good areas to skillup?
Just wondering if anyone can tell me where are some good places to skillup my axe from 115 to 175 and beyond? If you know a link to a chart with this kind of info that'd be cool too, 'cause I couldn't find anything. Also if anyones interested in skilling up a weapon around that same level gimme a /tell.

I lvld staff to 150 on Exorays in CN and to 178 on a very very long coffer hunt in GC fighting weapons and the occasional Doomed.

West Altep I guess. Zone near rabao should get you to 140-150. After, you can try manticore near kuftal.

if that link dont work,
do LB1 mobs til 150s
then move on yag zealots/elder quads/orc bowshooters
then move on to gold,steel,myth,topaz quads/ predator, zerker, warchiefs at around 160s

or to make it a lil simpler, do LB1 mobs til 150, then straight to coffer mobs. this was the path i chose to lvl axe for rampage- it was pretty tough to lvl, but it was easier getting skill pts (i was war/thf til 55)

Kuftal tunnel is pretty good to I think about 190~200

sky Water Camp 200-250+ i believe

I believe can't Remeber clearly. but closer to the Cap slower it is

yeah i usually just stick to crabs, they hit weak and have high def so they last a little longer. robber crab in kuftal till like 190 or something then i just go to steelshell in boyahada (have trouble capping most weapons on them but can get pretty high) and yeah water camp is a good excuse to get the final points to cap

thanks for the tips^^

i managed to get to 127 (12 levels) today in West Altepa. funny story though...soon as I got to East Altepa I decided to make a Sabotender my first skillup victim...during the fight Cactrot Rapido flees up to me outta nowhere and takes me out in 2 hits. Anyways, I got an R3 and was good for the rest of the day.

rahs the best thing to do is a take a blm that can sleep and get a lvl 1 axe and you should be hitting for 0.. ive done it and its pretty cool

This is what I did:

107-120 - Beetles and Exorays
120-150 - Beetles still and Rumble Crawlers
150-200 - Crabs in Kuftal
200-??? - Steelshells in Boyahda

im at 130 now. i took my underskilled Francesca into an xp PT today, very funny...rarely connected with mob but when it did I'd get 0.3-0.5 skillup. im just glad no one in the PT said anything...

fastest way to know where to go skill up is, what lv do i learn "insert closest weapon skill here". say its viper bite, well viperbite is lv 33 and 100 skill so youd fight things in garlange citadel or eastern altepa. crawlers nest is pretty much a 1 stop skill up area from 110ish up. you just make your way further back for higher skill.

EDIT: lol you dont need skill in axe as rng, shit my skill when i got francesa was 68. my axe still isnt capped, its around 207.

i'm a performance whore though, lol, I like my skills capped if not to satisfy my OCD than to keep my fellow xpers happy. i kinda just want rampage too...@175 I'll stop.

Must be nice to have all those accuracy bonus traits as a ranger, haha.

I dunno, I've always found the skill up to be better one step higher than where you should be for XP. Like if you had a level 70 weapon (level 23ish), go to Yhoator or whatever. I guess it also depends on what equipment you're using too, although I'm not sure how much accuracy gear affects skill up.
