Its registering name patent for a game square intends to or is considering releasing sometime in the future. They do this to secure the name in case anybody thinks about grabing it for a product of their own. When anybody business or otherwise registers for a patent, the names and such are released to the public. You basically get an idea what companies are up to when you look them up I.E Apple computer and their next thing Or possibly gayer than that Microsoft corp that basically patents anything they do ha . |

Well, I doubt it's the expansion because name isnt related in anyway with FF unlike the other 2 (Chain of promatia, Rises of Zilart). But I'm pretty sure they will eventually come up with something else since there is many unfinished area |

Feel free to look through the list of trademarks. http://www.uspto.gov/main/trademarks.htm "SEARCH trademarks" (Top middle) then put "Square Enix" in the search field and set the field to search as "Owner Name" |

They list all different kind of medium that could potentiably be used, but they probably do that to prevent someone for using the name on something else than console. Just find a trademark for console game and compare it to this one. |

There's been plenty of rumors about a new expansion pack on the way. I'm sure it'll happen sooner or later, they'll have to keep the customers interested. |
