Basically this thread is about a RDM who soloed Genbu....theres vids and pictures in the downloads. Anyway discuss.

imo its complete bullshit, and Im sad at Avesta for trying to fake such an accomplishment.

Now I didnt say it was impossible, luck can take a battle like this in many directions. Its the way Avesta presented it that really bothered me... Theres what, 2 SS's? and a video of him taking off his last 1%.

I wanna point out he had that first SS on his site before he even tried the battle, I know cause I saw it when he still had "Fight coming soon!" on the Genbu page.

i've seen all of avesta's vids, and the guys definatley skilled enough to make it happen. But the amount of time/items ( ninja tools specifically) it would take to do this makes me think that 1 person couldn't have done it. i'm gessing its either BS or he had more than 1 person playing his character in shifts lol

avesta is a king, after seeing some of the other stuff he's done i'm sure he wouldn't have to fake it to do this shit haha

Dunno why people are so skeptical. Genbu is slow as fuck, even if it builds grav resistance you can still outrun it with crimson pants.

Yea haha. He has had more notable accomplishments than Genbu. So I see no reason for him to fake a solo Genbu attempt. I mean don't get me wrong. Its awesome task to solo Genbu. But to most people, Genbu is a total joke. Hell even at our Genbu's we have Jong trying to MPK people (Shadowbind ftw). Its pretty embarrassing to die to Genbu and I have never seen it happen except once. (Jong Shdaowbind Genbu and it killed a BLM haha). No point in fakin this when he has so many other notable victories. I dunno y people are so skeptical either. I guess the video clip is short as hell but meh w/e. Haha

Yeah, soloing Genbu wouldn't be that difficult. Ruby and I had talked about doing it for months, then we were going to duo it, but he never got crimson legs, (that I'm aware of,) and quit, the fucker. ><

There nothing imposing about Genbu. He's slow, ga IV and flood all have long enough casting times to range them and who gives a shit about Drown if you have Utsu anyway.

Kick my ls into action for me and I'll duo genbu with you SS :p

funny i was watching an old order of the blue gartr video where they were all extreme for fighting genbu, ahha.

lol doing sky since like april of last year kind of wears down on people.

I agree... except Corwin would be too cheap to buy that much Shihei.

My theory is he just kited it with DoT's on, then at the end nuked it for the video to make it seem more glorified. Maybe with Dalmatica and Duelist's Chapeau he'd keep enough MP to nuke here and there. But I imagine it was mostly DoT's.

Sleeping to 300% for an opening spirits would help as well, and popping an Icarus Wing whenever he can.(I bet it took him long enough that he could have used 2)
