Haha something new in sea... and some dynamis type crap. I bet Limbus is some Promyvion dynamis clone that is level capped. Hopefully there is something worthwhile behind using that door both ways in Huxzoi. I doubt it will be that great though.

I hope to god the next chapter in Dynamis that they are calling Limbus requires people to kill the Dynamis Lord.

I would love to see a zone that dropped a lot more currency to make it so relic upgrades could be done in the 50mil and 3-4 month range rather than the 100+mil and 6+ months route. Im all for a challenge, but lets be real here.

Still, it has me excited.

I also dont think its going to be a level cap area. Notice the WHM is in full AF2 but the Warrior is in full AF1. Atleast I think thats what it looks like. They do appear to be infront of a broken Crystal, but still, maybe thats where you enter and it warps you to a new area.

Dynamis\Proms would just be a nightmare to organize. God knows I hated doing the Prom runs when they first started during NA release (when Strays took an assload of dmg to kill).

Anyway it has me looking forward to the next patch.

lol i loved doing proms when they were insanely hard, i bitched when they nerfed them haha

lol i could have said 500+ mil since ive seen them going for 5mil. I think things are getting out of hand really. I hope square sees this too.

They just need to make currency Rare\Ex lol. That way only people who are super experianced in Dynamis (that would take an assload of raids to collect all the currency yourself) would get a full relic upgrade.


I only said 100mil since I highly doubt anyone can upgrade a relic weapon with out the help of a dedicated linkshell.

You loved them because you didnt organize em haha. Trust me, trying to get two groups through that maze when it first came out was a mess. Most the time we couldnt kill the strays fast enough.

There was nothing fun about 5 hour proms unless you were the douche bag running around causing the problems for everyone else....

I looked up Apollyon and it was kind of interesting.

For those people who hate clicking links let me explain. Apollyon is basically a character who is refered too in the bibe as the person who will lead an army of locus like demons in the final days. Its said that "Apollyon" is what early christans refered too as Satan.

I think it's safe to say that they are making referance to Diabolos in this area here. I mean I assume by the order they listed the new zones in ("Temenos" and then "Apollyon.") that Apollyon would be the second (and last?) zone and this is where we finally stand off with Diabolos in his Dynamis like setting. Perhaps this is the "behind-the-scenes" of Dynamis.

Sounds really interesting so far. My excite factor went from 6 to 9.

Haha upon completing certain "requirements" you can enter Limbus. My guess is by beating Dynamis-Xarcabard and finishing CoP you can enter Limbus. Well maybe not the CoP thing but definitely the finishing Dynamis thing. No way they will let you enter a new dynamis when they ask if it left you "thirsting for another challenge" if you haven't beaten Dy-X. So Yarr it sounds safe from the wording of the first sentence that this is the second stage of dynamis and I would assume that you would need the key item from killing DL (that is why there is a key item) to enter the new zones. If so that would be sweet. Currency drops being higher in the new zones would be nice for relic upgrades, but I would think SE would add something more than just that in Limbus. I see more people upgrading relic recently as BG on Bahamut just got attestation to go with the ridiculous amount of funding they have on their mule to upgrade sword to Excalibur for one of their PLDs. People have found more creative ways to obtain currency recently.

Looking at the word Temenos was a little more tricky. Most the stuff that google listed was all about gay stuff. No, really, it was like Gay forums and Gay life and blah blah. I also got a lot of hits that had to do with organizing things. Then after a little poking around I found this



This leads me to believe this is even more of a continuation of Dynamis.

Here's my working theory.


Zone 1, "Temenos"

This zone is like all other Dynamis zones only new mobs. Like always its basically a maze up to the Mega Boss. This Mega Boss would only be a guard to the deity in next zone. I also imagine that it will tie into the Proms since Diabolos IIRC (and I havent beat him in proms out of lazyness) is tied in with those. I also have a feeling that the big mysterious doors are now going to have a use. Perhaps this is where we enter the new zone? Would that imply it is capped after all? I hope not.

I think we would have to kill Dynamis lord in order to gain access to this first zone. Since we need to kill dynamis lord to continue the story. Although this is wishful thinking. I just dont want to see an orgy of inexperianced retarded newbies trying their luck at this new dynamis-like zone.

Zone 2, "Apollyon "

This would be the area that we do one of two things. We find out about some master plan Diabolos has and kill him or we find out about him and then kill some other Mega Boss guard. I doubt we fight Diabolos yet. I think this might actually lead into the new Dynamis areas. Although I would rather fight Diabolos ;p

Still, I think from here we would then get to the rumored Dynamis zones. Although I still don't have an opinion on those zones yet. They just do not fit into the current Dynamis story.

I wonder if Limbus's entrance will be the emptiness spiral in north part of Al'Taieu? Or the door on promyvion 4th floor? Or the unused crystal?<


That Grand palace door is like sex btw... it will save us 235923 ****ing hour every time we go there. Will probably make those ebon panel easier to reach too.

And Yarr, don't put your expectation too high. :P I doubt it will require Dyn-Xarc title considering that story ark seemed completed. I'm ready to bet however it will be related to CoP's "kid" and his story after CoP mission

actually yarr i was always the one that was in charge on my 3 proms when i did them, was in the first successful NA group to reach lufaise meadows too ;p

and yea, when i did them there was always 1 or 2 people who made it hell for everyone else, but i found it funny when he tried to do stupid shit lol

Its a total jump really that this even has to do with Dynamis. After all, they do only ask "Did Dynamis leave you thirsty?"

Although I doubt too much that they would be adding more content to the end of CoP. Generally patches dont add high level content over and over.

oh and Volrath, I wont get my hopes up about Xarcabard but dont you get your hopes up about needing the tears haah. Maybe for the door, but not for this. After all they show the characters standing next to a Broken Crystal.

Tear will probably be used to access north part of Al'Taieu, but I wouldnt excluse those new area so fast :P


By Dynamis-like, they probably just mean you will need a big alliance who fight hard stuff for drop, it still doesn't mean it will be a continuity. Oh well, I guess we will see soon, I just expect it to be related to the Kid, and what he did at the end of CoP.


I wonder what will drop there. I doubt they would add new set of Af2 considering they bitch all the time about PS2 reaching its limit. Maybe it will be ring, or other acccessory?

well i hope this is an incentive, for yarr mostly.

If it is indeed like Dynamis and you need Al'Taieu or beat CoP then he will get his ass in gear and do it because his passion in this game is Dynamis after all.

On that note I think its a good incentive for anyone to complete CoP but the biased part of me wants to say you cant access it til you beat Dynamis-Xarcabard. It took us over a fucking year to do it and it would be a nice pay off (in addidition to Ket's only NA Mantle).
