Recently i got the pop item for these boots and they are quite amazing for drg. I need 6+ 70+ people to come also if you want the boots get an air tank it seems we can do more then one. So post here if you are interested in helping and or want some boots and ill get a time set soon.

The pop item is a Air Tank it drops from Hobgoblin Blaggers in Bibiki Bay, or can be gotten from a Bazaar. The mob is poped in Newton Movapls (sp)

Did this this weekend. NM AoE hurts a lot, but there is a trick to not having it kill you. Basically, don't beat the shit out of it.

First attempt on this went quite horribly. 1 War/nin, 2 Mnk/war, 1 Nin/War (me, lvl 70), 1 Drk/Thf, 1 Thf/Nin, 1 Whm/Blm, 1 Bst/Whm, and 1 Brd/Whm. We got stomped in about 30-40 seconds first attempt. He did almost back to back AoE for 680 EACH to everyone. We managed to win though with just the Whm up and 1 War/Nin and one Mnk (note, this was after we had unleased all our WS and dropped him down a good bit). We raised up, set up a new game plan and popped him again. We got masacred in 20 seconds this time.

Many left pissed, though we got some others to replace them. After doing a lot of thinking about the fight we won, we came up with a very successful game plan. Me being the only full Ninja, we decided to just have me fight it while everyone else sits backs and either waits/nukes/chi blasts. We now had 1 Mnk, 1 Smn, 1 Blm, 1 Thf, 1 Brd, 1 Drk, and me(remeber, nin ^^). We dropped him like nothing. Subtle blow is the key to beating this NM. He would maybe do the AoE twice in a battle, but with so much time apart that it didn't really matter. If you go in with a lot of melee, you're gonna get spanked hard. Stoneskin for Titan + Mambo x2 from the Brd and I didn't get touched. He has 1 other move (Heavy Whisk) that goes through shadow, but only does 300ish + knock back but he doesn't spam it.

Here is the run down. Three mobs need to be cleared (2 goblins and 1 bugbear). Once they are cleared, first person who is going pops the NM. Ninja should be right next to him, ready to voke. HAVE THE NINJA FIGHT THERE. It saves the rest of the PT from the AoE, who all should be standing near the tunnel entrance to the side. Buff your tank/fighter, have melee sit on the side (opo-opo necklace and sleep potions are good for this) and have the nukes lay them down softly, no spamming. He has a lot of HP and has a tendance to resist a LOT of spells. Ninjitsu stuck 1/3 times, SLOW is beautiful. Bugbears already attack slow, makes tanking this a piece of cake, crumb cake. Mnk would Chi Blast, Drk would do his nuking, melee were saving TP (from the 3 mobs) for a SC at about 1/2 health w/ mages MBing. Keep the buffs up while healing the tank inbetween AoEs and Heavy Whisks. There is no 2 hour from this guy, makes it kinda to easy once you know how to do it.

Be aware, kill the 3 mobs RIGHT BEFORE you pop the NM. There is a 16 minute respawn on both the NPC and the mobs, kinda a hassle if they pop in middle battle.

Rutters are not 100% drop. We got 2/4. I am starting to believe that they changed Subtle Blow when they did the "nerf." Even with just the Thf/Nin helping kill, he managed to build TP almost 4 times as fast. My suggestion? 2 Nin/War, no more due to the NM still gets TP. Any faster Melee hitting and he can spam his AoE.
