Pantherxx in Ifrit world Hume male here are my job that I am working on to make the best out of it
WAR39 MNK10 WHM19 BLM19 RDM25 THF8 PLD20 DRK1 BST3 BRD1 RNG9 NIN11 DRG13 SMN1 SAMn/a 45 day in playing time so I started in may if I am right so right now I am working on the BLM and WHM to get level 40 then back to RDM as my main job

First time I been here was not so bad when I leveled my WAR and RDM and its was fun and easy until this one came up as I needed to level my other jobs after I got good jobs that I know and will to level and when I came back to Valkurm Dunes I was ready again but guess again and there was tons of ppl in this area that did hit 256 ppl in this place was full of NOOBS OMG OMG OMFG where in the hell did I land on this place when I shoulda got all my other job up to level 20+ and I would not have to do be there AGAIN..... So far I had been killed here not just argo its the noobs in the PT that kills me when I tried to help them understand but this is what I think "I'll do it my way" so I did make the blm and whm thru alive but had been kill about 10 time each job mosty from noobs and I been trying to stay away from those but lucks got me outta there well if you wanna hello in /tell do so and I will send /tell back


oh yeah about those /shout "can anyone loan me 1k" <--- well this one I tell them to /shout "EARN IT just like everyone else"

i dont see why people complain about dunes... its the first place anyone really gets to party at.

Your bound to find people that dont quite know what to do and esp how to skill chain.

Best thing in dunes is to try and help people and share your learning, sure you can rant that they dont listen and do stupid stuff, but id rather be under lvl 30 loosing xp than over lvl 60 dying. pre lvl 50 getting a party is really easy and so long as its well configured you can get 8 lvl ins in half a day.

Just try being the party leader and invite only people you want.

thats the best thing ever and many people will travel to join a party and that only takes 5-10mins from most places to reach dunes. These days i normally know 2-3 other people that wanan lvl a lowbie job anyhow and are happy to put the base of a party together.

Anyhow everyone knows Dunes is disturbing, and i have to admit ive been pretty lucky there and never had a bad party sure i have had the odd really really bad member but 90% of the time they die and just leave the party so you can replace them.

I just ask LS if anyone has a job (in the lvl range) if they want to lvl. and u will usealy will have one and i look at Rank alot in the Dunes.

Maybe I had been overbroard but anyhow its pain still to help those noobs there and its their first pt that they will come to. Also its sad to watch them (Run Away!) For thier lives and Die right next to ya and see it was a hare that was easy to me and I said "ouch"

This is a little OT, so forgive, but it has to be said:

It is definitely interesting to go back to areas while leveling other jobs and notice how the player population on the server has "changed..."

Case in point: I was leveling my subjob in Kazham the other day, and it took me about 3x as long to level because people kept aggroing the gob smithies and training them to the zone during EVERY pull. Also, instead of going further into the jungle, most PTs stacked on top of each other right next to the zone----causing enormous amounts of lag, giving the gobbies many, many more soft targets to smack down, and magnifying the effectiveness of the AOE Sleep attacks from pulled mandys.

Back in MY day (and I'm fairly a new player - started in January), people called for help when training a gob, and other parties didn't hesitate to help them...or they took the death with dignity so they didn't screw up other PTs with a huge gob train near the zone. Amazing concept, huh? Sacrificing a meager 400 xp so everyone around doesn't have to have their experience ruined.

The experience flows so nicely in Kazham that you can even ghetto warp to your HP and not worry about losing any significant leveling time. The trains to the zone are ridiculous. When did FFXI's community become so...selfish?

got it and very lucky that japan gets to go first to play this one. But funny part is when FF VII came out it was same time that japan and usa got it at same time if I am right and its was best game when sony had PS out then later it came for pc
