i'll give it a try, but let me know if i'm wrong:
STR= Modifier that helps determine how much damage you do in each physical attack
DEX= Modifier that helps determine accuracy of physical attack and damage of critical hit
VIT= Modifier that helps determine how much damage you take when hit with a physical attack
AGI= Modifier that helps determine evasion of physical attack and accuracy of ranged attack
INT= Modifier that helps determine damage and accuracy of black magic you give and take
MND= Modifier that helps determine damage, accuracy, and potency of white magic you give and take
CHR= Modifier that helps determine accuracy and duration of songs (and possibly damage of requiem?), accuracy and duration of charm, and i've heard rumor higher CHR for tanks means higher aggro. dunno

not sure which modifier helps ninjitsu or summoning, if any

just not thatn for chr chr only has any effect for *offensive songs*

buff songs do not check chr at all.
