WTF are up with the AH prices? I didn't play much for like 1 week due to the holidays and now everything is like 50% more. Did IGE make a killing this X-mas or what? #-o

IGE lowers prices > lots of people buy gil > gilsellers raise the prices > IGE makes money and the honest players lose.

Case-in-point: I get gil and my dream sword grows ever more out of reach. And for those of you who say that the Joytoy is better than the E sword, then camp it for me, other wise, idc.

I have a weird feeling there are people duping shit on every server right now. Might just have a gil dupe.. or currency dupe floating around. Well that and IGE doesn't help either as they might have opened up their gil reserves for the holidays which re-releases gil that was rotting on the gilseller chars.

i've been seeing currency pieces at 100k per piece. That not right at all....

People need to realize how many of those pieces a person needs to do anything with that.

this fucking sucks so much, i wante dmy scorp harness this week after farming fucking behive chips and bcnm's 40's all month, the week of christmas the harness shoots up to 15 mil, doubling its price about 2 weeks ago. god fuck this shit im just gonna play a mage job foever

I just laugh cause all the RMT bought a ton of the high end gear before Christmas. So that means:

noobs buy gil from RMT > noobs buy high end item that RMT put up for sale at retarded price > RMT gets his gilz+ back and keeps your RL money.

Yeah, it's just gonna get worse... I think it will cool down in a month or more though, when all the RMTers spend their Christmas presents and can't walk to the AH and buy shit at 500% markup because they don't wanna wait.

SE needs to get the fuck off their lasy asses and sue IGE. This is a brech of the EULA. I will find out a way to MPK Crylily, and do it every chance I have. Its pitiful that we have to be having this discusion, but we are.

Welcome to last year's conversation. So glad you can join us so late in the game. Due to international laws and regulations It's hard for SE to go directly into lawsuit. While IGE is the largest corporation they are the hardest to go after because their home base is set in Hong Kong. IGE is also not the only RMT corp. The smaller companies also play a factor and not really a target of gamers because they are not so publicly advertised.

Another reason why SE can't go directly to lawsuit is that IGE claims it does not sell the in-game currency. By selling the in-game currency would mean breach of contract and thus be barred from doing. IGE and other said companies offer services that help gamers enjoy the game more (i.e. not having to farm or recieve the purported currency) but do not sell in-game currency.

While we hating seeing this shit, it will only get worse. And I'm not trying to defend RMT, but people don't understand the judicial system. Going to trial especially with international affairs would be very cost-consuming and not worth the loss especially it with the evidence that would need to be brought up. SE wants to maximize their profits not lose them and going to trial would end up costing more then they make fiscally. Yes they've taken some small step by banning accounts but that's the extent they can do without recieving lawsuits on their end for unjust bannings.
