Hey if kayne can do it so can I lol.

This is the first Ive heard of it and aside from reading this strip I know nothing. Oddly enough this strip is EXACTLY how I feel lol.

Matti Im pretty sure you like Jim Lee right? I know Reinheld does, after all Jim Lee IMO does the best superman\batman art.

The best part about it is that SoE sent Tycho and Gabe a shitload of Krispy Kreme donuts the day after that strip. That was in Tycho's commentary the day after it happened I believe.

Jim Lee is pretty awesome. 8) My favorite comic book artists are deffinately Travis Charest and Sam Keith, though.

SoE literally ported people's characters into deep space in SWG. They did that to accounts they did not like. Instead of simply just banning them or putting them in a jail.. they booted them into deep space lol.

The story was awesome but his shitty art wasn't so awesome.

Here's an example...

What PA is trying to say is Jim Lee's art is awesome, but SoE releases crap product anyways and even Jim Lee's art will not save them. The main problem with EQ2 was not just the uninspired artwork used in character design, but really that it was too much like EQ.. more of the same does not equate to good.

With EQ2 SoE just added better graphics and some other not so fantastic changes to the game. You can polish a turd all you want, in the end it is still a turd.

the thing that made sam keith's style interesting is that his comics were almost in a mixed media style... he would have like a painted portrait of julie that would be a 2 page spread and then back to photo-realism panels for the next page and then go crazy cartoony on the page after that

yeah, loved it and the FN movie was great, too. His style is kind of ghetto, but it's creative and different, not like the typical crap you see in that genre.

agreed <33 but I also see matti's point, I think Jim Lee would whoop Sam Keith's ass in a drawing contest.

No doubt about it! When it comes down to technical ability Jim Lee would slaughter Kieth. I only ever really liked the Maxx by Kieth and his Wolverine's. I've been stalking Lee ever since Uncanny X-men 248, I stopped collecting that when he stopped drawing it.
Just like Iolanthe I'm a big Charest fan too and I'd say he'd whoop Lee and Keith's butts, BUT the guy is so damn slow that I honestly think that anyone who worked as slow as him could pull off the same style and quality material as he does...I've been weaiting for Dreamshifters for like 5 years+ now, no shitting.

Yeah Charest a total homo about keeping a consistant amount of work out, same with Joe Madureira. I do agree that Jim Lee would totally kick Sam Keith's ass in a drawing contest, but I think Sam Keith is more creative in general, you know?

Forget the SoE DC MMO. The Stan Lee/Sigil MMO is going to really own. Brad McQuaid can have my children any day of the week.
