I was looking around at some of the new stuff for ToAU on Somepage, and I happened upon some of the elemental cards that Corsair will be using. From the look of it, I think prices on elemental clusters and some other objects are going to go up once we're able to start using/crafting these things. http://ffxi.somepage.com/itemdb/8360 There's the fire card for example. This may or may not be a good thing for the economy, it all depends on whether or not you'll be able to buy these things from NPC's I guess. |

Don't forget Alchemy and Goldsmithing was it? (Clockworking key item) Puppeteers are getting to get raped by crafters, lol |

Yup, Alchemy and Goldsmithing are fronting the set for most of the consumables for the new jobs. ^^v |

Fucking kick ass. I'm so going to milk the elemental cards for as much as I can. Seeing as alchemy isn't profitable at all. Unless you're a high enough lvl to constantly HQ3 or 4 beeswax consistently then follow it up with 10-12 HQ of silent oils. But have fun getting to like lvl 90 to be able to do that. |

Somewhat of a small update. The Corsair Cards sell on the boasts to and from aht urghan to the reef areas, for about 36g per. 36g x 99 = 3564g Not sure how much the crafting costs, but I'm betting it might be cheaper to just buy the cards from the boat. lol Guess this isn't going to make as big an impact on the economy as previously thought. :P (hell, these things are cheaper than NIN tools atm!) |
