Got to find out how and where you can fight Odin lol.... man that will be fun. PO on Midgard wiped to Cerberus at 20% last night. Said he was not that hard, so hope Odin is much harder.. well depends on what type of fight.

Odin is the darkness elemental avatar and Alexander the light elemental avatar. I would say you fight them in a proto crystal or something.

I was reading somewhere that there is an npc that talks about "the dark rider" and there is a hoofprint that you can check that says it was left by a giant warhorse.. so far that's all I've heard about him.

Think it is this series of quests.

Promotion: Private First Class
Client: Naja Salaheem (Salaheem's Sentinels, Aht Urhgan Whitegate)
Summary:
President Naja wants you to bring
her an imp wing.

Promotion: Superior Private
Client: Naja Salaheem (Salaheem's Sentinels, Aht Urhgan Whitegate)
Summary:
Your task is to find some hard
evidence that the "Dark Rider" has
truly appeared out of legend and is
terrorizing the Empire.

Don't have any Imp wings.. those fuckers are VT and true sight to 75s lol.. killed me while I was trying to do COR flag.

CoP was cool. People just liked the bitch because game was lacking material reward, but most of the stuff was really challenging. Zilart for me consist mostly of mindless gear and xp grinding, while CoP was mostly the fun stuff.

CoP WAS fun. Challenging fights, beautiful locales, a wonderful storyline, and Limbus. Don't complain that it didn't add enough gear or level 75 crap; e-penis is retarded.

the lvl capped shit was the dumest thing ever. I understand it catered to everyone. Because it gave everyone a chance to be involed however. If you noticed it didn't take very long to hit higher lvls as you furthered yourself in the missions.

FF was out for already 2 years when cop came out. So nobody and i mean nobody had an excuse not to be lvl 75. Cop had its good things. But so far the way it looks this expansion should have been what cop was.

Gearing yourself for a mission take about 15minutes and cost 20k ;p I liked level cap, because they were usually more challenging than mission with pimped 75 job.

I guess you can look at it that way. But when you factor in space limitations, it does get to become a nuisance.

Expansions solely geared toward Level 75s will be heavily, HEAVILY criticized by half of the fan base and most of the media. Level capping provided not only access to the majority of the player base, but added challenge to people accustomed to blowing through everything with their Level 75 gear.

As for "not having an excuse not to be 75", that's ridiculous. That assumes that every single person playing bought the game at or near launch, and that they had the untold amounts of time that we've all had to play. Many people can't put in that kind of time commitment.

CoP is effing lame. Finding help for missions? Fucking forget about it.

"Hi, do you wanna spend 6 hours walking to a location for a level capped fight? You'll have to buy yourself some gear, mule a bunch to store everything, then just head on over to the shrowded maw. Wait are you a Smn? Nvm I'll keep shouting"

Unless you have a perma it's really fucking hard. I worked hard to get 75, I don't have 100000000 gil to invest in low level Mnk gear as I sold all that stuff to buy my level 75 gear. Ugh, I'm still on 3-5 and I really have no desire to finish, although I really should.

I agree with Mikey

A simple solution that doesn't exactly have a 100 % ratio of actually working. I can't tell you how many times. I bought something for a cap mission only to have trouble selling it bacK. Then having to sell it at a loss because se can't afford to give me more inventory space lol. Its dumb. Now if they had what was called, borrowing lvl capped equip from npc's that'd be cool.

my thoughts exactly. i barely had any room, including AH and delivery box, to get any new armor. Thats all the gobbie bags and the biggest mog safe btw. (stored mostly shitloads of equips for war, subs, drk, and mining)

organizing ppl is the other big turn off. pissed me off almost as much as organizing o-hat runs

edit: and what mikey said about AH
