What kind of interesting things have you found in the new areas? Strange activities? Weird objects and stuff like that.

I forgot the name of the area, I found a bucket or pot of stuff, I clicked on it and it asked if I wanted to try it or no thanks. I said yes and it turned me into a beastman, I walked up to a beastman in the costume with no aggro, bad thing about wearing the costume is you loose 35-40 HP per tick. It was cool though.

i walked in some water and it gave me haste, then the same water added gravity to someone eles. I also seen this Super Uber/Leet jp Mnk in a osode mnk fully upgraded relic hands blackbelt and the other blah blah that gave him a uber epenis he used hundred fist and totaly pwned a snake notorious monster

Let's see:

Found and fought Cerberus. Got our asses handed to us like most because of gates of hades, (Huge AoE wtf 1k damage that leave burn effect)

Unlocked COR. Seen it in action. Has some potential to do a lot of really kick ass things for party support, (including xp bonus on mobs with corsair roll). Also they seem to get ranged attack ws without having to sub rng like other jobs.

Ilm telling me alot about Blu. Sounds like it has potential to break the game at later levels in the hands of a skilled player.

Pup seems to be broken mainly on the basis of lack of equipment for the job. It just seems haphazardly thrown together. (Hay let's make pup use h2h, but give them C skill and make them wear mage armor lol)

The new areas are pretty nice. The mobs, althogh some of them reskinned are cool.

I need to start assault and do missions, though.

Im happy to see this breathing life back into the game. The biggest aspect of any MMO is the idea of discovery. FFXI was stale even when CoP came out and CoP was far from something you could "explore" and "discover" and so on.

I personally have no interest in coming back, but i think its cool to hear about the interesting things people are seeing and doing.

blu is really overpowered already and has the potential turn endgame upside down lol.

cor, which I decided to level, has both potential to do decent damage and buff well, but at the same time is extremely limited compared to brd or rdm (in my opinion). my reasons for leveling it are strictly to see my taru in pirate clothing.

pup is odd. it's really strong at lower levels, but the way it looks to pan out doesn't seem too promising. since the h2h skill on the player sucks, it is really really dependant on how strong the automaton is to decide whether the job is useful later on or not.

I got Cor but haven't touched it, I don't really plan on leveling it, but it's nice to have done.

I got the first mission done and I really wanna do Assault but I can't find anyone to do it with.

new areas are pretty interesting. There's not much you can do without a PT and I never have a PT. My linkshell is in a diff timezone and all my friends are always doing other things. meh, ToaU sucks lol.

the mobs cheat, lol...

like Trolls, they have a move called Diamondhide, which is nothing more than Stoneskin... but it can't be Dispelled :O i dunno how many times i'd see that Dispel had no effect, then spend a few more rounds of battle hitting 0's

also, Mamool Ja's cheat... the lower tier ones don't aggro, but the higher tier ones do, and are True Sight to boot :x

Flans are way cool though, they seriously look awesome :p

i just can't wait till the beastmen sack Al Zahbi trying to get the Astral Candescence, that should be loads of fun

Who beat Cerberus on our server lol, I'm pretty sure FS, TTK, Vanacompany, Atarri & JoS all tried it but I don't know who won, if anyone .

Been beaten on other servers and drops materials for amenet mantle + 2, and Triple Attack GSD

I mean cerberus mantle lol, str + 3, attack + 15, enmity + 2 or some thing like.

ALso people have found two or three areas for roaming party burns, getting chains over 300. Damn.

People are gonna have to figure out how to make a party of BLU, BLU, BLU, COR, PUP, and PUP work soon.

btw I want to know where the good manaburn area is (in ToA areas)...i'm gonna look into that.

There are mobs in the new areas that take magic damage like Sewer Syrup.. can't remember the mob name though.

Pretty much everything in the new areas is manaburnable (in my experiences) besides those bones mobs, they hit hard, seem to triple attack, can't be slept by black magic, and take magic damage weird (ie very inconsistently).
