meh.... just take a healer, rdm, blm, nin, and some DD(sub nin) and you should be fine. As long as mages stay out of AoE range you should be totally fine. Just make sure you have a good nin tank.

Number of Participants: 6 60 BSTs (level capped) subs could be either WHM or NIN. We went 4/nin and 2 /whm.

Gear needed: Standard AF works (I bought a Royal Knight set for the STR boosts), STR rings/earrings recommended (don't have to go too crazy, the cheap level 35 stuff seemed to work well) two stacks of funguars, two stacks of Zeta. as many X-pots as you can hold, Icurus Wing, Shihei, Carbonara or Curry for food recommended (Carb has att boost, curry str boost), 3 Au Laut of choice (I used Persikos), Yag drinks for /WHM, Ethers for /WHM, Reraise Earrings, and most importantly 6 CCB Polymers.

Pre-BC: To get the CCB Polymers you have two chioces, buy them from the AH in Jeuno (at 200-400K a piece) or farm 3 rare/exe chips. Now we bought them for two reasons 1) the cyan chip needed drops off of Mimics only 2) we figured we could farm the cash more efficiently than the chips. How you get them is up to you.

Also, time is a HUGE factor in this battle. So what we did was enter, get the long CS at the beginning and then abort. That way when we entered again we could go straight to the battle without wasting valuable time watching a CS. If you are a CS freak and like to read it, take your time the first run before you abort. In between battles there are other CS but I would recommend mashing X or your enter button to save time.

Method of Attack: There are 3 seperate and distinct battles, 1) A fight against 5 mammets 2) A fight against Omega and 3) a fight against Ultima. I have broken these down into 3 seperate fights

1: Mammets. Pretty straight forward attack method. When you first enter the BC you are on an airship with no enemies. This is where you call pet and buff, use reraise, food ect. Don't waste a bunch of time healing MP/HP here or waiting for call BST timer to cool. If you do the mammets right, you won't need to, because at the end of the battle you and your pets get healed full. There is a door that you click which will give you the option to warp back to Sealion's den, do nothing or move to Armada. Click move to armada and prepare for battle!

What we did was fight the mammets one on one, since there is 5 of em. We went alphabetical as to who fought what. Darcy was 1 and pulled the far left mammet to the bottom left of the ship. Jiggs was 2 and pulled the second to left mammet to the top left, I was 3 and pulled to the middle mammet to the middle. Quix was fourth and pulled the second to the right mammet to the bottom right and Xenorex and Yoshime ganged up on the far right mammet and pulled to the top right.

There is not a lot of room in the BC and AoE overlapping is inevitable. However, the mammets don't hit too hard and one person can solo a mammet given enough time w/o a problem. However, the 2 on 1 group destroys their mob fast, have them help whoever needs it the most. We did the mammets several times and after our first chaotic run, we only had one pet die. Remember your tactics from 2-5. They do transformga, heel your pet so you don't regen it's health back.

Try your hardest to keep your first alive but don't use Sic. On the contrary, feel free to fire off Rampage when you want (recommend finishing of the mob, don't do it too early). For whatever reason your pets can keep TP but you can't. Don't ask why, it's SE being SE.

After the fight you are transported to another empty airship and a CS. As mentioned early, mash your X or enter to save time. Again click move to armada at the door and prepare for...

Battle 2-Omega: Now the fun begins. The mammets were a push over, but Omega is far from it. Check your reraise and make sure it is up. Omega has a TON of HP and hits fast and furious, especially after 50% or so health. It also has a very powerful AoE known as Cruise Missle that killed us on a failed run. This guy is a monster and a pain to beat, but rest assured he can be taken down.

What we did on our succesful run is we sent in the pets and hit sic right away. Dark Spore and Silent Gas work really well and the funguars other status effect like paralyze stick as well. Pet fight the first pets, running to the opposite corner it decided to plant itself.

Hate is touchy here, any little thing you do creates hate. So be very careful what you try to do. After your first pet is dead, I recommend holding your second pet until all the the first pets are dead. When that happens, go into {Full Attack!} mode and all melee. This part is CRUCIAL, make sure you fight in a corner, the best being on the opposite side of where Omega spawns.

The reason? You can wipe, reraise and heal full without getting hate. The best part is, Omega or Ultima WILL NOT regain HP. You read right, neither one will can one drop of HP, no matter how long you sit there. We called fresh pets, waited for weakness to wear and cured full. We wound up wiping with Omega at 50% and managed to beat it, so don't give up too easy. We went in again, this time using those expensive little devils we discussed earlier, the CCB Polymers. This time we charged with our pets to make sure we did as much damage as possible while the effect of the polymers was occurring.

Basically, these are a quasi-anima. It "slows down" the TP attacks of Omega and Ultima. They fire off quick so have an order ready. They last 30 seconds so have a person keeping track of time and call out it's usage. We had to use 4 to get past it. Try to save whatever you can for Ultima, but don't forget about winning against Omega either!

We managed to take down Omega, but we were dangerously close on time. Once again, when you win you are ported to an empty ship, once again both you and your pet are given full health. Click move to armada again, some more button mashing and on to the final battle...

Battle 3-Ultima: We read that this guy was easier. We read that he had less HP. We read....throw it out the window. As is the case with most all BST parties, what you read does not translate into what is reality. Reality was, this guy was tough! Pets manage to live long, but you are just chipping away at his health. Patience is a big key in this entire battle.

Again, send pets in and sic. Use reward when possible and sit back, moving the the opposite corner he decides to plant himself on. My first pet died quick, so I aborted the holding the second pet. Unfortunately, my second pet died just as quick. in fact, all 5 other BST were on their first pets, while I was looking at a 4 minute cool down timer.

After the first pets are dead, go into {Full Attack!} mode once again, adhering to the fight in a safe corner method. We managed to get Ultima down to about 20% and wiped again. This time, we were pushing the clock. We were at about 13 minutes when we wiped, so we had 5 minutes before sickness wore. To save time healing, we used ethers, x-pots and spammed Curaga.

We again went in with our pets, using the last of our polymers and popping Icurus wings. We all held off rampages as long as we could and then fired them off. I used Rampage, immediately did Divine Seal + Curaga to heal the party. Jiggs got off the final Rampage to seal the deal. We beat it with 3:30 left to spare.

In conclusion, this was one of the most intense battles I have experienced. I was shaking after it was over, elated that we had managed to beat it. I don't think there is a straight forward all BST strategy for this one. You have to be quick on your feet and adjust to what is going on. Other than the mammets, the Omega and Ultima battles will depend on what happens. Be smart, don't panic and remember if you are gonna die, die in a safe corner. As you can see, you have time to wipe twice and still beat it!

well what we got so far for the pet burn:

Slappy- BST/NIN, BST/WHM or BST/COR (pup roll!)
Paz - BST/WHM or BST/BLU
Rostof - SMN/WHM
Grus - BST right?
Rover - BST
Deez - BST
Uknowme - BST?

I havent talked to everyone yet tho.
I'm calling it a pet burn now cuz Rostof wants to come SMN, which might help cuz he could 2hr at the last 30% on Ultima.
