i always resented it because it made something that was always already difficult to do (create a good HNMLS) and made it just about impossible. Personally i always though it was a shame that people would rather take a free handout to an already established HNMLS rather than build one up and work to get there. Id say about half of hokuten/newage wanted to build it up and half wanted to hang around until they got into CKD and got the "free ride". One of the many ways to play the game.

The members of CKD, although talented players, are not THE ONLY talented players. They just happen to have more experience than most of us. I can see where you're coming from but I hope you don't honestly believe that CKD has the only talented players on our server. There are more and more people hitting 70+ on a weekly basis, look at it as an oppurtunity to find new faces.

I totally agree there are plenty of talented players out there, and we certainly aren't the best. I don't consider myself the best.

Im going to dissagree, CKD is the best ls ever. Made up of the best players for more reasons then the ability to spam buttons. CKD is still the leader in NA HNM Links.

Id hardly consider CKD a free ride. Membership is limited and we dont just let anyone in (aside from mikey). Also, everyone holds their weight in ls or they get removed. Ive done it before, ill do it again.

CKD? Arrogant? =x Yarr's experience in community politics is baffling as far as I'm concerned. Game within a game I didn't even knew existed til' mid-late 2004. They won and nip at the heels of players who've had this game a year longer than any NA. #$*(ing frightening as far as I'm concerned. It makes me wonder though.... Anyway, Mikey, as usual, says it best.

I agree with yarr. CKD was great, the game couldn't quite rub my jollies anymore, but the LS was great, even with the occassional cryfest.

I still hang out here every couple days after all. Cause I liked folks such as Kayne ( who prolly hates me), and Mikey ( who defintely hates me), and Ilm ( who prolly forgot me), and Rein ( who never once tried to molesst me)

All in all good players and great people and the desire to have fun while kickin' the occassional ass was what it boils dowen to.

Holy shit, Vurin said he liked me. That's like one of the biggest compliments ever. Haha.

But yea, When Piro left, Sirf took over because of an incident in sky...

NewAge was made and we were doing great. We killed like 6 HNMs the first week and we got so many items for our LS, including my Joyeuse. THat was back in Dec. Then Sirf moved and didnt have internet connection in his new home. Since he was the only sack holder, no new members were coming in so we stayed realtively small. We had enough ppl to kill HNMs on the fly and take gods etc etc. Then ppl started getting bored because no one was stepping up and organizing events and stuff. So ppl began to leave and the LS got smaller and smaller. Then Raex and Sase and Hathfuri stepped up and starting organizing stuff. Thats when we noticed all those that had left mysteriously popped back up when wewere gonna fight gods and camp HNMs... You could really see who the loot whores where. But anyways. All was well we had so much potential, but a successful Genbu fight, with successful drops caused unsuccessful problems (if that makes sense). Yea our final break was over loot :/ Kinda lame I know... But last I saw, I dropped my NewAge pearl about 3 weeks ago when there were constantly only 3 ppl at any given time. I been flying solo since then haha. Concentrating on me at the moment :P Trying to better myself to be a part of a LS again...

And those are the dying days of Hokuten/NewAge

I Personally think they way how u judge an LS is wrong.... but if that's how you are then fine with me. but how i see it in monarchy. we dont have a "LEADER" but we have a friend. Aiame doesn't even make herself look like a leader... she makes herself as a reliable friend... that's what i like about her...





The point is, on your side you guys say," They stole the staff" on their side, "its a different story" either way, both side of the story is "BIAS" i'm not gonna take side to a situation I dont even know what happened. you guys claim they stole it. they claim they didnt. even tho, whatever the situation is. we're not gonna force b to give it back... becuz who are we to tell/force b to give it back. if he gives it back, he gives it. but if he didn't give me back, he has a good reason for it. i dont know so dont ask me i'm not B or aiame nor have i been in ckd from the beginning. i am just friends with both sides. that's it.

Ha ha. You'd be surprised. Its amazing what mindless zombies people can be - the average person's perception is completely shot to hell. People love to think what they *know* is a product of their own rational, when in most cases it isnt. You should see some of the sheep herding going on in alot of the LSes in this game ha ha (CKD included of course =p).

In anycase theres always a difference between how people view a Collective and an Individual. We dont like your LS as a collective, We dont like your LS leader, but most likely 90% of the individuals in your LS were completely neutral towards.

instead of leaving things to settle you continue to speak of this matter. THis is the absolute last post i make on this subject, because it just seems to me like people just wanna fight. I'm taking nobodies side on this one

its not an opinion but a fact that CKD has paved the way for the NA population at a lot of things. lvl 75. dynamis. NMs. kings. gods. kirin. we don't think we're better than anyone because of that. although we know each other very well now after almost a year together, plus we do have a very selective application process, so we do end up with a sense of pride. but we're also proud of other NA linkshells that have come a long way and are doing very well. A certain NA linkshell got a certain king last night. And we got one too, so thats 2/3 kings went to NA. That makes me happy & proud, especially knowing KFC didn't get it hahahaha. i just wish other NA players would be proud of CKD too rather than jealous or bitter or whatever. we are one big happy KFC-hating family ;p

Look, theres a reason CKD hates aiame and dragonb. Its because they stuck around until Aiame got all the stuff she wanted then she quickly left using a really stupid excuse.

As for the healing staff that dragonb has. Well, there were about 8 other people who killed Roc that day, we all passed to let dragonb have it since it was an "LS Item". I pass on it so he could have it. Everyone there passed on it. I think that was the second NA healing staff in game, back then EVERYONE was dirt poor and we easily could have sold it and made a good chunk of change.

but we didnt, we wanted to make the ls stronger. CKD always keeps items in the linkshell. So far dragonb is the only member to out right steal an LS item.
Aiame of course took all the god gear. I always wondered why she bitched and bitched to do specific gods until she got her drop then when she finally got the Feet she all the sudden had "issues" with ckd and left.

So anyway, if thats whos responsible for you ls, if thats the person you want to be your leader, I feel bad fo you.
