yea, if you could push a button and it started playing the battle won song for ffxi and dropped loot, it might be worth it. But at $139 dollars it better do my dishes too.

And the loot would only be a lightning crystal.

I didnt get it, and for the record I saw it at another booth for 260. These are Canadian prices dont forget.

I still kinda regret it. Although I might regret not getting a Silver Surfer #1 for 175. Sure it wasnt in the best shape, but it was still pretty damn cool.

Here's what I say:

If you buy something at collector price then the only value is that price. If you happened to get one of these things when it was new, and kept it yourself it'd have intrinsic value that could not be measured. For example, when I was but a wee lad I received the Legend of Zelda (used) for my birthday. I couldn't have cost much even then being 1988 or 89 but I've kept that very copy of Zelda my entire life. Now, you can go on amazon.com and buy a random, open, zelda (golden) cartridge for 99 cents, but what I have here is priceless and irreplaceable. It's my oldest possession and a very dear one. So more power to you for not buying this stuff.

Of course when I left NJ and moved to Minnesota, I realized I'd forgotten Zelda in my old basement in the hustle and bustle of my last days on the East coast. First thing in my life I ever lost sleep about. My brother is going back for some things he has stored at that place and Zelda may yet stand a chance.

eh, etcetc.

tl;dr: good job not buying this stuff.
