TV.com has James listed as playing "Professor Milton Fine / Brainiac"
So it looks like Clark wont be the only person hiding his secret powers.
I wouldnt really call it "ripping off" after all smallville is now done highschool and it was after high school that superman in the movies (and comic i think) moved out of smallville and started his life as "superman".
Calling smallvill a "ripoff" show for "ripping off" superman ideas is kind of impossible. I mean it would be like making fun of Spiderman the movie for using the Green Goblin plot.
This is superman the TV show after all.
Whoa! I thought Brainiac was a robot from Krypton. What's the deal with the liquid form? Did I miss something?
By "ripoff", I meant that it seems highly unlikely that Supes would use the same trick to finish off the bad guys in the tv show as he will later on in the movie. I can see it being a homage to the movies, but c'mon. At least make them battle or something. That was the lamest excuse for a fight I've seen since Superman II. LOL
