Saw 1 was really good, I plan on watching 2 this weekend, preferably with a lady friend haha.

Dark + Drunk sounds fun.

Saw I & II aren't so much horror movies as they are psychological thrillers like Silence of the Lambs or Seven, yes both are worth watching!

saw it on friday, and it was good, it was more storyline and emotion than action. but it still had its gore.

I worry about getting nightmeres, but then I sleep and stop caring and then my dreams run together in an incorherent wash of images and sounds that mean absolutely nothing.

With that said scary movies don't really bother me until I can calm myself down, haha I did see the first Saw (LOLZ), but not the second. I might see the third with friends tommorow.

I think Saw is disgusting, really. I think it's really quite terrible that those movies can do so well and be viewed. I feel bad for people who have become so desensitized to this shit that none of it seems disturbing. I don't know about the people you guys know, but the ones I know who are fans of the movies are shockingly unfazed by them.

I can't handle gore to that extent. Scary movies in general don't hold my interest.

i actualy saw it with madison, the only parts i couldnt watch where the seizure and when the sad girl cut herself, something about watching self inflicted pain makes me want to throw up, yet i can watch almost anything else.

I avoid this by not sleeping.

Don't watch "The Hills Have Eyes" or "Hostel" then because those are pretty graphic.

It's not really that they're graphic, so much that it's just pointless gore without a strong storyline. The driving theme is mulilation. It's what carries the story and is what brings people into the movie theater. It's not even horror, it's just sick..

Ever since Mel "r u a jew?" Gibson made the Passion it occurred to me that, yes, in fact there is a good market for shock value if not for the same reason people pass tubgirl around the internet. People get something out of being really grossed out.

Hell I admit that I used to visit Goregallery regularly a while ago. That was back when I liked to print out pictures of gruesome deaths and give them to people as a joke though. I remember when they had the pics of Nicole Brown-Simpson's head basically decapitated, that was awesome.
