Yarr bought me an iPod nano for my birthday last year and I never thought I'd want one, but it turns out it's been a good thing for me. I have a tape deck in my '96 Neon and I connect my iPod to the tape deck with one of those adapters. It's not the greatest sound, but it beats fumbling with a discman in the car. It's gotten me through many many long drives and does wonders for me at the gym.
I agree that iPod does not need to continue to come out with new versions, however, I think that they're kicking themselves in the asses for not make the original nano more durable. Mine is all scratched up, and I guess the new ones are more resistant to scratching.
Omg my Gym plays the worst fucking music. The days I forget my IPOD or headphones (doesn't happen often) I get so irritated at the gym. I don't know how people can work out to the shit they play.
