so i used to have 3dsmax6 and my computer wiped, and now im looking for a new version, and i cant find a legit one anywhere, 6 thu 9 idc as long as it works.

CAN SOME ONE PLEASE link me to a legit torrent or if some one has the file can you send it? its kind of important...

No i'm pretty sure you can go to jail if you're facilitating P2P transfers. That's the whole point of P2P right? You don't just host it and have people download it.

Im sure you can, but its a lot harder. Im also in Canada where (IIRC) the laws governing the whole P2P stuff are still very grey.

Yeah actually the ESA gave canada a "very poor" rating for failing to crack down on piracy. Or maybe it was the MPAA...

I think i read it was the MPAA. Canada's big ISPs have actually been working with the MMPA recently to create new ways to fight movie piracy.

Im all for it. I hate downloading movies. Not because its wrong, but because the picture quality is so low haha.

facilitating stuff isn't illegal as far as I knew, just the actual sharing of the files

Some guy on somethingawful went to jail because people were secretly sharing files over something he was hosting using P2P. He wasn't even aware but it turns out they were sharing child porn and he went to jail. Of course, that's not like sharing a program but I think the concepts are the same. Facilitating the sharing of a product illegally.

i still cant find a versiomn that works, ive downloaded 3 so far, all of them duds.
