Has anyone else seen this movie? I had no idea whether it was released in theaters or not, but it was definitely interesting and thought provoking. Very trippy visuals that related to the Mayan afterlife of Shebulba and the tree of life. Looking back it has gotten mixed reviews and I can see why. It has a crazy plot that covers 3 different time periods. It can be seen as a chick flick because of the romantic/emotional/sappy content. I thought it was a well enough made movie, considering the many problems it had while filming.

Hence me using the word HAD. Past tense implies that I know now it was released in theaters, but when I watched it I had no idea.

I thought the movie depended on its visuals more than it should have. I didnt like the movie very much at all.

Yea, I really dug The Fountain. I think I was like, one of 7 people in the theater on opening night. lol It's really a love it or hate it film.

I have the hd dvd you should come over and watch it rein. p.s. I lost your number when my cellphone fell in the toilet. And for the record I still don't really understand wtf happened in the fountain even though I've watched it like 3 times. Maybe i'm not paying close enough attention.
