By far the biggest improvement so far for me, and my chest is starting to get kind of defined.
How do you do sit-ups yarr? We use a machine with weight, then between each set do 50 crunches, then increase the weight each set on the machine. I can see my abs getting tighter... but not really "bigger" like I'm not seeing any 6-pack lol.
The way I like best is on one of those big blow up beach ball things. The reason is that you have to "ballance" yourself alot during the last few reps since your muscles are ready to give out. Ive almsot fallen right off, its kinda funny haha. Having to ballance yourself works more muscle groups too, helps give a more even work out.
I do 35 normal "up-down" motion crunches and the last 15 are the kind where you twist from side to side, working the obilques and your back alot more than the normal "up-down" motions.
Also the ball allows for your back to lower down (arching out) more giving alot more movement. I find whe mn I do normal crunches on the floor (feet up or down) that my back tends hurt so much that I have to stop before I can really give my abs a good workout.
oh and laying on the floor and raising your legs up and down is killer too after 150 crunches haha, if your not carfull your head will explode haha.
The ab machines are ok but like all machines they really only target a specific muscle and if your not carful you could find your muscles growing out or proportion.
