Doyle really helped a lot. A good replacement for Curtis.

Whisp have you listened to In Constant Motion or The Dark Eternal Night? It's absolute SHIT.

Here's the torrent link for it. It's off the new DT album if you haven't heard

http://www.mininova.org/get/682878

It's fucking nu-metal lol

edit: and "Constant Motion" is available via their myspace, which you'll probably love because most metallica fans love it because it's a metallica song with a more intricate instrumental. As for "Dark eternal night", I haven't heard anyone who actually likes it lol

As for me disliking richard dawkins eventually, I was an admirer of him long before I liked Dream Theater or 24, so i doubt it.

Constant Motion starts out with a great guitar riff, but the verse and chorus aren't that impressive. But at about the 4:00 mark...crazy good stuff.

I don't Dream Theater have been quite as good since Six Degrees, but we'll see how this new album plays out.

i dont have a torrent client or whatever that is. i always figured it was like kazaa and would fuck up my computer. but i checked out the mysace one and i like it. it sounds like old testament mixed with DT. perhaps this album will be better than their last two, which like TS said were very subpar for DT.

subpar for DT is still lightyears better than any of that indie crap.

I loved when they showed Audrey and Jack holding hands and both their hands were all mangled from torture. It's like "awww" how sweet.

The difference is that I listened to those albums a few times, determined they weren't that great, and moved on with my life. What do you have like twenty posts in this thread and you don't even like 24? Get a hobby dude.

Meanwhile,

Thank god Bill Buchanan got fired, or he'd be dead now, and that would make me very sad. It's nice to see that the writers seemed to make the effort to remove him from harm's way, that is unlike them. Sad to see Milo go as he had potential to be the next Tony Almeida as office guy who heads out into the field when dire need calls and stirs shit up. However, if he continued on the show with this season's momentum, he'd eventually be so monumentally heroic that he'd be sacred and unkillable (kinda like poor old Tony). It's funny that the "director" got killed considering I mentioned earlier on this thread that Bill's been the longest standing director in terms of seasons, and his number was just about up. I think he just got a new lease on life...as long as he gets reinstated lol.

Just watched the season finale. All I can say is omg that was so awesome and fulfilling. This past season has been the most emotionally affecting since maybe the first season of 24, with the death of Jack's wife. Since that event Jack has largely guarded himself against his emotions, but this season was way too personal for him to remain stone-faced. Jack's character really developed over this last day, more so than any other season I think. This might be my favorite season so far, I'll have to think it through a little more.

Awesome, awesome ending. It's going to be a long year lol.

I was astounded that they managed to conclude all of this year's storylines in the last episode. I was also impressed with the transformation of Noah Daniels after his own scenario was turned around on him and an unnecessary war almost started. They never really resolved Morris' guilt.

I can't express how glad I am that they let Buchanan live. The moment he picked up the gun I figured he was doomed, then he goes and pilots a friggn helicopter into an enemy fortress haha. I guess both times he was dismissed as Director he reset the Director death clock (which lasts between 1 season to a season and a half). He's now survived 3 seasons.

What happened with Milo's brother? I thought he disappeared and was gonna wreak some silly havok but I guess he just left.

I can't see what next season might be about, so many things were concluded with the death of Phil Bauer and the capture of Chang, along with Jack's realization that he can't be with Audrey. The only opening is Chang's warning that China will come rescue him.

This was definitely a good season, highlights for me were the relationship between Gredenko and Fayed, the development of Noah Daniels, and the rise of Mike Doyle. My hopes for next season: Mike Doyle with an eye patch and a big scar on his face, President Noah Daniels, Chloe's baby is black, Josh Bauer joins the Marines to begin training for the day when he'll kill Jack (then himself) and break the Bauer curse. haha
