Full Metal Panic is totally different, even if it came out at the same time than FMA. You should really download the second season (Full metal panic fumofu) if you want to laugh, one of the funniest anime I've watched.

I noticed you mentioned slayers? Might I assume you are implying all three seasons? because you should really see all 3 if you haven't (Slayers, Slayers: Next, and Slayers: Try, in order of appearance.) There are a TON of movies to but while very amusing, they don;t quite measure up to the series. BTW this was the first anime I ever saw. Probably why I love it so much.

As far as other stuff I'm gonna have to think for a minute I've been out of the anime loop for a while now unfortuantly. If you like the fantasy setting then Ruin explorers is good. Record of Lodoss War is a classic must see even if it is rather long. Don't confuse it with cronicles of lodoss war though. Thats just as long and rather boring.... I'll definatly back up outlaw star. Its a great series just make sure you watch the whole thing it kinda throws a few curveballs at the end. Uhm, hmm think thats it for now. I know theres a TON more I've seen and liked but I'll have to get back to ya with names. Like I said its been a while.

abenobashi and excel saga are hilarious irl and if you want something that has that classic good vs bad fantasy 80s anime feel, check out Fushigi Yugi

Already mentioned excel saga in the first post ;p Abenobashi was awesome imo. I watched it 2 months ago and ended up liking a lot more than I thought I would

Girls bravo is ok, the first couple episodes are weird but its pretty funny after liek episode 3

I vote for Bleach (A Naruto-ish type anime, but without the bullshit filler and occasional childish themes), back up Outlaw Star, and throw out a new suggestion: Read or Die. The movie is absolutely amazing, and the second half of the series is equally awesome. The first half is a bit slow, but if you can enjoy anime that focuses more on character development than action, you'll be fine until you hit the badass stuff at around episode 13.

Isn't Bleach doing filler atm? I heard some rl friend complain about it 2 days ago.

I've watched 5 episodes of Neon Genesis Evangelion and i'm so fucking confused.

same with RoD, except I saw like 20 episodes before G4 quit showing it.
I thought Gun Grave was pretty good but, again, didn't see all of it.

For Eva you really need to watch it from the very start. I saw like 5 episodes on Adult Swim in January and they were completely out of order and made little sense. But I was intrigued with the story and characters so I ordered the Platinum Collection with all the episodes digitally restored+director's cut of episodes 21-24. After actually seeing everything in order and no editing the whole thing is, imo, amazing.

The current storyline from Bleach isn't as exciting as it has been, but since it was in the manga, it technically isn't filler. The worst part about the filler in Naruto was that it had no power to do ANYTHING, because at the end, everything has to be exactly as it was to match up with the next storyline from the manga.

Still, Bleach is generally pretty non-stop. Moves at a very quick pace.

RoD is sort of confusing, yes ^^

Unlike 99% of the gaming world, I actually get bored of Tetris quite easily. Different game modes might spice it up for awhile, but I would get sorta odl, fast.

Record of Lodoss War - awesome, but really long winded at points - magic/romance
Loveless - its yaoi, but its also downright funny as all hell... (watch with straight people and they will squirm) - yaoi/romance/comedy(depending on company)

fixed the list a bit and also added one thing, watch anime with subtitles if you don't understand jp, don't dub it, it ruins them from my opinion..
