its watchable, from my standpoint, but the anime is very emotional, there is no fights, no real evil guy, just her and her relationships with the animals/guys (on a friendly level, no kissing or sexual tension) - its like looking at a highschool girls diary in video mode... it has its funny moments though, I would watch it. Its a great example of shojo anime, definite something you have to expierence.

I watched Frutis Basket. It was pretty good imo. Bit Emo at times true, and not always terribly exciting, but overall I was pleased with the series.

Compare to Fushigi Yuugi for example which imo dragged on forever and had more aciton sequence, and frankly Fruits basket managed to be mroe touchign, and interesting without dragging on for 40 episodes and almost turning into the some sentai show for girls.

Bleach is of course awesome. I would defintely have you watch that up episode 10 or so until the end of their time in the spirit world. This new arc kind sucks, but the firs tone was mind blowingly awesome.

If you've never seen Berserk It comes highly recommended from me. very Gritty, very manly , and it still has political intrigue and betrayals. Akin to Lodoss war without all the fairies and suck. A Shame only 26 episodes.

If you liked Berserk you might enjoy GANTZ, gantz is not a show I'd reccomend to a woman, but I found it incredibly fascinating as a man. some of the mroe actiony parts dragged on for more episodes than perhaps they should, but imo its very character driven, and I enjoy that immensely. Series ends rather abruptly though.

In a similiar vien to the previous two is Speed Grapher, while I enjoyed this one as well, its probably even less likable than the previous two. bonus points for Duran Duran opening theme though.

Ganktsuou (sp) a guilty pelasure of mine. Unusual art style to be sure, and its supposedly a retelling of the counte de monte crisco or something. This one is more appealing to girls i bet. Its got love and betrayal themes again, and is overall a very enjoyable drama, abotu a young noble and his coming of age in the midst of intrigue and manipulation.

Elfien Lied - haha Loli murderers. it wins. Short series as well.

Inital D... I don't know why I watch it. I hate cars, but for some reason this show is interesting. Well done for no other reason than it captures my attention abotu a topic I care nothing about otherwise.

One Piece - Sucks on american television, but its really a top notch series for a reason. Cute and funny, and actiony. lots of episodes too.

Eyeshield 21 - its about football, and the way it builds up to get japanese audience familiar with football is a bit lame, but still like Initial D it makes an otherwise not voerly interesting topic good, additionally its quite lgihthearted and a good watse of 20 mintues once a week.

New Bleach Arc is nearly all fillers and like Naruto they lose all power or ability to think Im not even watching half of it. I mean they are fighting snakes made of ropes and losing -_-;. The rest is very hot. Gui still has the cd I think. Not sure.

Mai Hime and the sequel Mai Otome is pretty good. Fate Stay Night is starting to get somewhere.

I will always remember berserk as the show with the best "out take" ever. The DVD were worth watching for that alone, but the story itself was pretty good...beside the part were guy were running naked.





Sport anime are...eww. They always make me remember that episode of Prince of Tennis we downloaded for fun.

MPH demo has absolutely nothing in common with the actual game. Ignore it. Worse graphics, sound, control, and presentation.

two more classic theme'd animes i think are really good, Lost Universe and Spell Wars (think it goes by Sorcerer Hunters) too, both came on demand from comcast here and imo are awesome

Lost Universe seemed weak after watching slayers. I was expecting better
